  • Listen to the sound of that engine.

  • i.ve caught a 13 and 1/2 lbs lobster before! was a huge one! about 2 and 1/2 feet long!

  • i Would Love To Go Fishing Lobsters SomeDay !

  • way to handle your lobster boys...holy christ surprised they make it ashore

  • the worst thing now a days about lobster fishing is that some a**holes scrape off the eggs and keep the lobster..so thats why fishermen dont make as much money as they should..im only 15 but for my carier i want to be a fishermen and it wont happen if they continue scrapin off eggs:@

  • Good for you.

  • haha you think thats the problem? theres more lobsters landed now than there ever has, its just split up between too many fishermen, and the canadian processin plants are giving horrible prices cuz economy sucks n people dont wanna eat lobster cuz retailers drive up prices so bad. whale regs are wrecking the maine lobstermen, droppin trap limits, makin rope regulations. oh yeah and canadians and new hampshire fishermen get to sell the giant ass breeding lobsters. in maine we have oversize laws

  • wtf are you you talking about were not aloud big lobsters here (NL at least) we are only aloud lobsters below the 5inch measure

  • @oldshell8388 obviously you dont know what you are talking about New hampshire has a minimum and max lobster reg

  • @oldshell8388 i fish lobsters here in atlantic canada and we dont get to keep all the female markets. they have to meassure over 4 1/2" from the inside eye to the outside edge of there body... not sure how familiar you are with meassuring lobsters but a female market has to be one big mother fucker to pass meassurements.. we can take all male markets as long as they are larger than standard meassure

  • @Cigarillos18 one of the top reasons is because decline in price, due to INCREASE of lobster population/ catch. the lobster population in maritime canada has went way up since ground fish were fished heavily, now there's barely any fish around. I come from a community, go lobstering, i know these things. not very many people scrape spawn off lobsters, its certainly not one of the worst problems in the industry.

  • 2 pot haulers?! interesting.

  • nice video, closed in sterns can be a bit of a hassle, I know . We made ours into a ramp to shoot the pots off. check out my videos to see

  • the beautys of lobster fishing its always fun

  • dang if u sell those u must have gotten like..?? $150?

  • un-beliveable how rough lobsters are treated on the water

  • I will draw a name from all those that purchase one of my videos on Dec 20, 2009. The winner will get to choose from taking a real life lobster fishing trip (scheduled in May 2010) or 10 lbs in fresh lobster.

  • I fish lobster in cape breton. Best job I could ever have the only prblem is that the number of catch we get is not enough. I mean when the price of lobster gose down the price of gas gose up. which isn't easy.:( But love my job non the less :)

  • You should see an 18lb'er

  • we caught a 15lb'er...around that frigger was full of spawn it was shitty

  • Indeed cuatc30.This is the best video.I am a captain but I prefere to work in the back.I have my broter-in-law who drives..It is a good hard life, but great to come home each afternoon.I have to rate this high.

  • Thanks for the comment. Have a good 1

  • You need to apply to the Captains in person. Depending on your experience and working resilience you can get a job each year. The pay is about $200 per day.

  • I've been looking at this and crab fishing. How exactly does one get a job on a boat like this? Just show up at the dock? And how well does lobster fishing pay?
