The Earth will end when the sun runs out of hydrogen inside its core, which will make nuclear fusion take place in the outer layers, causing ti to expand and turn into a red giant, this red giant will extend further than earth's orbit.... this willl happen in a couple billions of years, don't know the exact amount off the top of my head
