I've never cared about the creativity of the Pokemon. The only thing I ever didn't like about Pokemon is the clone rodent/bird in every game.

ie-Pidgey Rattata-Hoothoot,Sentret-Zigza­goon,Tailow-Bidoof,Starly.

I'm glad they turned God into a Pokemon. But not in the sense of the Church of Arceus >_> but just to answer how Pokemon were created besides the hand of the most insightful people in the world. I would be happy If they ended here or if they ended in 20 years. I just love Pokemon.

I completely agree, they need to stop doing that and just go with what they've got now. Like in the next one they could do Tailow and Sentret, and then they could do Bidoof and Pidgey, or something.

Sorry kiddos. The next one will not be a remake. The Previw of GEN. 5 have been made. Two completely new pokemon are showing up.

I think they look kind of cool, but that's because they're practically evil.

funny, yes but no they wouldn't remake the remakes. they'll probably stop at r/s/e because after generation 5, the franchise would probably get stale and old. You can see that in gen 5 , N, one of the antagonists is kinda like lance from the special. and the team leader looks like an evil pryce. (moi w/o the mask etc.)

Pokemon has influenced my life more than any other thing. I will follow it until the day I die. Whether Gen V gets made and its entirely machines, plants, birds ect. I will follow it. Even If I don't like them like you I will still say they're cool. Even when the count reaches the quadruple digits.

Personally they can drive Pokemon into the ground. All I want before that were five things. A remake of Gold and Silver which has already been granted. An online kind of pokemon like WoW graphics and such. A game that connects all 4 regions for the ultimate experience. A sequal to Pokemon Snap and a sequal to Pokemon Stadium 2. (That isn't Battle Revoultion >_>)

This is hands down the greatest Pokemon game in history. I don't get why people don't like Diamond and Pearl. My favorite go from #1GSC #2 DPP #3RBY #4RSE I personally think Ruby and Sapphire were the weak links of Pokemon.

No they don't! The worst looking are thr R/S/E ones. Diamond and Pearl have some of the best ones. You can't get pissy because they're running out of ideas. I think if they made a Gen V then Pokemon would be dead because what else is there, but Gen IV finished it off. Arceus rules.

I agree mnost of the Diamond and Pearl originals suck but the evo's of the old ones (Togekiss, Gallade, Porygon-Z) are awesome. Basically all of the old gen to new gen evo's and up in the pokedex are cool. Garchomp is bitchin too.

Bronzor is good I've used him. Cresselia is also cool. the others are pretty useless. But all Gens have useless ones. Probopass and Tangegrowth are the only stupid Evo's. The Trio are copies of Mew but for a reason. I think Diamond and Pearl were absolutely necessary. Imagine if Pokemon ended with R/S/E. That would be awful. D/P/P finsihed it off revealing the Creator and everything. It tied together the loose ends. If any Pokemon gen should be the worst it's R/S/E. They brought nothing in.

You can't expect them to be able to create an amazing set every time. No one can truely prove that D/P/P are the worst because no Pokemon game is bad (Except Pokemon Channel) People just need to get over that this is where Pokemon is going. If you don't like it don't complain, quit or play the old ones. Just don't go spouting hate about them. Because although there may be small amounts of die hard fans like me left, we can put up a damn good argument.

It's really not an argument. Everything is a matter of opinion. EVERYTHING involving which Pokémon are cool, or creative, etc. is all opinion.

But it just so happens the opinion among the strong majority of Pokémon fans (Including die-hard fans such as myself) is that most of the new ones are very uncreative pieces of shit.

I mean really, look through the whole Pokédex, you can see where things went wrong. I mean the R/S/E Dex is knidof straying, but the D/P/Pt Dex is just ridiculous.

Well that's the problem with games with long intervals. People play the first game and love it then expect the next game to be even better. Well considering you can't top G/S/C Pokemon was about done. I hear from more people that they don't like Pokemon anymore because there are so many rather they are stupid looking. There is no lack of creativity. They had to end the Pokemon series with the god. They used up pretty much every animal in the world so what else is there? Would you rather the IV gen be only fish birds and plants? Because that's all there is left. At least there is creativity in them. I bet no one could come up with 5 better suggestions. This could mean anything, like stubborn to keep getting new games in hopes the Pokémon improve, stubborn to hope for better Pokémon, or stubborn in bias towards the new Pokémon, like you.

And there's no reason to pity someone who thinks with logic. There IS reason, however, to pity someone like you, who's love for Pokémon blocks the fact that the series is dying.

I think you mean 'effective in-battle,' in which case, they are still good.

But with the old Pokémon, there were a few uncreative concepts, and a bunch of really creative concepts. Like look at Nidoqueen, Mewtwo, or Kabutops. What the hell are they? Now look at Combee, Stunky, and Buizel. A bee, a skunk, and a weasel. It's easy.

Gen. I had every Pokémon looking awesome. Lots were based on animals, and lots weren't. But the ones that WERE strayed so far away from the animals, that you couldn't tell. Did you know that Abra was based on a mole?

With every generation, more and more are based on animals, and they all stray less and less from the actual animals. Now in Gen. IV, it's not hard at all to tell what animals they're based on.

Legendaries are a different story, though.

I see you're point. And I was partially thinking of effective in battle AND good overall. You can find the creativeness in the new ones it just takes some getting used to. Did you know Garchomp is based off a jet plane more than a shark? I just think people should put less priority on the look and sheen and more of the playability.

Johto is actually just as lush as Sinnoh, it's just the graphical capabilities that made it look less foliated. Look at Kanto in R/B/Y to FR/LG. It's the same way for Johto.
