Is Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles going to be done as Sonic 3 and Knuckles or Sonic 3, then Sonic and Knuckles?

I'm gonna do Sonic 3C again, but as Knuckles this time. Don't expect it until later, though, as I was just going to to do Sonic 1 and 2 originally for this, as since I already played through Sonic 3K twice before (once with Sonic 3C), I figured I wouldn't need to.
