  • Hey there - The chord you are demonstrating around the 6:27 mark of the video - what chord is that? Also - You show you are fretting only the A string on the 7th fret for this chord. What strings are you holding down on the 9th fret to make the chord? is it both the D and G string or only one of them? Thanks!

  • @Spindrummer It's a version of an E power chord. Leave the low E string open, fret the A at the 7th and the D and G at the 9th. I don't play the B at the 9th or high E at the 7th that you normally would in a barre E, but you could, if you like that sound. What's key is to get that low open E ringing against the rest of the chord. Hope that helps!
