those are beautiful paintings. Amazing sense of composition, color, pattern, and mood. And sensual lines. I guess Bezalel isn't a complete crap school. They told us that didn't even have a fine arts department until the 70s! They must have had some good painting teachers though.

this is the first I have ever heard of him, but I like his simplicity, his dramatic expressions that say so much without saying a word. It isn't wht I would find in a museum, but in a private gallery. The music, while a quiet and serene tune, was som,ething that compliments the tone of the painting.

Dear John....

You honour Itzchak and the Jewish People with this video. The stilling, contemplative music makes it a monument for all there is concerning this video: pain, holocaust, in the remembrance of the mind (the cast down eyes), but also wonderful art, colours, to make it all bearable.... It is a very special art of life itself, not to be found in museums, but in people like Itzchak, and you John, who recognises it, and tells us about it with so much respect and empathy...

One of my first purchases should I hit the lotto. Not to collect, not to sell, but to keep. I love this guy and his work. The long lines and the colors and the feelings it evokes in me are unmatched by any currently working artist.
