You used to have to always pay per month with WoW, but now you can play for free up to level 20. Once you hit level 20 you can keep playing but you can't level up anymore unless you pay. I think it's $15 a month. So try it out and play up to level 20 to see if you like it :)

@heyitsnikki8 You mean playing as a rogue? The strats are different depending on what kind of PvP it is. Your 1v1 strat is going to be different from your arena strat which will depend on what comp you're running and then of course you have BGs. I would suggest checking out arenajunkies for information on arena comps and their specific strats and the Rogue class forums for everything else.
