Whats the plastic coating involve? I don't think i know of it.
@MrLeonard55 Plastic Coating is Rustin's product. It's alcohol and solvent resistent two component finish for wood. You can find more information from Rustin's home page.

Beautiful, what did you use to finish them?
@MrLeonard55 Rustin's Danish oil and two layers of Plastic Coating. I let the oil dry before adding the Plastic Coating.
Could you show us how you hone your tools?
