For those of you who consider this "art", consider this - your right to create art ends at your property line. If you really need to tag, start with your car, or your house. While 8 years is excessive, it didn't have to happen-he could of just paid his fine before getting caught again. And, he AGREED to this deal!

I also spent 4 days in jail for carrying a gun (something that should be legal to do anyways) and that was one of the worst experiences of my life. So if I was a nineteen year old kid and I got sent to hell on earth for 8 years and pretty much had my life ruined for some graffiti I would probably be thinking about killing the judge or prosecutor at the very least when I got out.
