Hmmn I have climbed Mount Everest too, but i did it backwards back in 1994 under the name David Russel. It was damn hard, i had to use my heel to get a good footing, but the worst thing was the cold, i nearly had a frostbite on my left heel. The good thing is you are able to see what is behind, when you climb backwards. But anyway, it was a great experience.

At this point, noone can really confirm that Mallory did not reach the summit, so let`s wait for the expedion that can find Irvine, and the evidences that he may hold, to confirm what really happened :)

I have climbed Mt. Fuji, that is almost 4000 m. Comparing to Everest it is absolutly nothing, just at least because there is no snow at the top in summer, but I will never forget how tough it is.
