@papiervampire Err, can't remember exactly, but it's the part where Valjean explains to Javert what happened to him in prison (emotionally & psychologically), his encounter with the bishop and the consequences. I'll insert the English subs when I learn the actual translation. Which will be a while. Trust me.

Yep! Its being subbed by AOI-anime, they took up where other groups left off at the beginning of May. So far they have released 7 episodes in 2 months :D (that means there are subs up to episode 14)

well, its been almost a year since they started the project and it has been rather slow but you can find the torrents on the Aoi-anime website or anime torrent sites. I recommend you try animesuki ^_^

You're telling me. *bangs head against desk* I STILL have mixed feelings about it, but on the other hand it was cool seeing him be all kick-ass when he busted in on Thenardier. *squee* AND him visiting Valjean's grave. Reminds me of a few interesting "after-life" fanfics. I just wonder how kids who see this anime before reading the book will react to the real ending. O_o

I can't remember his name, but I think that the guy who voices Javert also plays the homicidal husband from "The Grudge." o_O

I really hope someone does an English dub of this show, I'd like to see who they'd pick for Valjean, Javert, and Thenardier.

Sadly, no to both, although I believe glaciereater was planning on subbing all or most of the Javert bits in ep. 46, which that beginning scene is from. So hopefully she'll get to it soon.

Hmm, maybe, although I think Colm Wilkinson would match better with SC's Valjean. My friend and I were actually discussing this the other day. I was trying to think of actors who could be the English voice dubs for the anime, but she didn't really know many actors so we ended up doing match-ups with actors from the Symphonic and Broadway recordings. Aside from Valjean, we also agreed the Broadway Marius would be more suitable cuz Michael Ball sounds too manly to be Marius. XD

I think I have the TAC Confrontation on my home computer. :D TAC also seems to be missing a number of songs, or the songs aren't complete. I dunno, I can't remember. Is there really no complete version of the Broadway?

Actually, lesamiscourfeyrac has a few Shoujo Cosette videos with songs from either the Symphonic or TAC recordings, although they are Enjolras/Les Amis centered. I'll consider making some, but not until the summer.
