I realised that I didn't really answer the question. I just went off on one. To conclude, Facebook is taking over our lives and we can't live without it. We can access it all day everyday now that our phones can access the internet, so we are always up on the gossip! It is a bit crazy! If you took Facebook away for a week, would people actually survive? x x x
I agree with what you are saying. As pathetic as it sounds, the first internet page I log onto when I turn my laptop on is Facebook to see what has been going on, and if I have been in Uni all day and haven't looked on Facebook, then I feel I have been missing out on what has been going on. How many of us have been browsing Facebook and suddenly seen something that we really think we should have been told about or at least know about, but it's a case of "It's on Facebook". Hope this helps :-) x
I totally agree with you, some really good points, Facebook is starting to get as bad as the TV soaps - If you don't log on for one night your instantly behind on gossip / news / who is going out with who, just like missing a night of Hollyoaks etc. If i scroll down on Facebook now anything past 6 hours is classed as "older posts". The worst part is that if you see something worth talking about on Facebook you don't go and see that person to talk about it, you just click "Like" xxx
I think its a fair to say that the new communication online is degrading the quality and quantity of face to face conversation. But to a certain extent its human nature to socialise and i dont think however much people communicate online, it will take away the importance of face to face communication. Love the animations though :) Well done
here's a point - relevant too. The internet & social media has its downside cause sometimes people get obsessed with you and then stalk your life and theres no such thing as an online restraining order (YET!!) so then you get stuck with them and it's quite scary! truth there!
and also I don't think twitter is killing communication cause it actually develops it cause now I can talk to famous people and also share my sandwich figuratively with people

LOVE this video. The animations are wicked, and the message is really clear. Online interaction is taking over a little... xxx
