When I was little, I met my grandpa for the first time. For two years, he was constantly in my life. I was always on his team. Then my mother made him mad and completely cut him out of my life. I let him fade into the wind and didn't give him a second thought. When I was in third grade, I lost him to suicide. All I have to say now, is I'm sorry. I loved him. And yet, I forgot about him. I still can't remember the little things that made him my Crazy Grandpa.
I love this song, not because it reminds me of the hard times in life, but because it says so much without saying much at all. It's beautiful and I want to listen to it all day.

this song reminds me of my cousins best friend robert. he was a marine and he was shot in the head in afghanistan. he died on his birthday. it was really hard for my family, even though i only met him once. his father is writing a book, having lost his son and wife, he endured a lot for our freedom. the book will be called "28 years today" and i am looking forward to reading it.

this song came out when my friend Mia lost her cat. She told me never to sing this song around her, because it made her just too sad. I wanted to be her best friend forever at the time, so I never ever sung the song again. I never even listened to it, unless I was forced to. I'm not really her friend anymore, we still speak to eachother, we haven't fallen out. I just have a new best friend. Mia was a good friend. Was I loyal enouth..... ??

@DjCrackMonster I lost my cat too. Weirdly enough she was called Mia. Some idiot ran her over while I was on my holidays to Blackpool. This song sort of reminds me of her, if I had stayed at home, maybe I would have saved her life. :'(
