His real name DAVID URY get it through your heads. He has NO Japanese parents. This was already revealed years ago and posted several times all over the internet. But people saw that were still wondering?? Wow people are so fucking stupid! LOL!!

I'm glad I finally managed to figure out if this guy was actually adopted from Japanese parents or faking it, and I must say, he's really clever for having people fooled for this long. I looked up some information on him, and it seems that his Youtube channels are used for his own alter egos and different personalities-- Ken Tanaka being one of them. Now, I'm not mad I found out. He's just doing what he's good at: ACTING! And I still love his Tanaka skits! They always make me smile on bad days!

With Zlad's bad 80s pop star look and Tanaka's resemblance to a character out of Herman Melville's classic Moby Dick. Zlad's poor taste and Tanaka's mid 19th Century ship crewman look make them both outsider enough to be downright hilarious.

Hey, I agree with you. Actors who use fake accents are horrible. I think they should use their own accent no matter what the character is. This is why Kevin Costner was so great in Robin Hood and Christopher Lambert was awesome in Highlander.
