  • wow.....i can't put it in words..what a beautiful band and musician...this song has a history of more than 50 years and still listening to it with a different taste makes it even interesting. It doesnt matter if the song is hindi, pakistani or afghani..it's all about talent and hard work. I have never seen any afghan singing this song better than Zeb (after the orignal afghan singer). Since music these days suck, we have to sing old songs in modern style which makes them even better. RESPECT

  • This is a great Afghan classic song and the singer sang it well, however, to ensure ethics and fairness, it would have been best to give credit to the original singer in the beginning of the sing which I did not see in this video. Hope it is being done. Original song sung by Shamsudin Masroor.

  • WAAAH RABABI

  • 'sistan va balochistan' is a province in south east iran...

tahkurgan is a northern district of afghanistan and runs into chinese tajik xinjiang province....

  • There are some big mistakes in pronounciation but never mind she is guud.....and the music looks shaky with this kinda lyrics.......it needs Qataghani music little bit more.....then it looks perfect....

  • the singer is from Pakistan, the song is Dari from Afghanistan, Taj Koor Ghan is one of the district in northern province in afghanistan, she is amazing ! the song is Dari not Farsi please, there is big deference between Dari and Farsi thank you and god bless you all, by the way i am Afghan

  • What a nice farsi song

    Two placed mentioned here

    1. Sistaan : In Iran close to border with Afghanistan.

    2. Tashqurghan : Just south of Afghanistani city of Mazar-e sharif in Northern Afghanistan.

Pakistani should adopbt farsi as their national and official language.

  • FYI its Dari song

  • this sounds very nice and catchy...im just wondering how she learned this song because its a really old northern afghany song lol...well she did a good job and the musicians did a good job too =)

  • MY love, you are like the sweet pomegranate of sistan lOl Bibi sanam janem anaar-e-sisstanem

  • what is sistan? is it a place?

  • @tiredsoul91 > its a wider area comprising baluchistan and sistan province of iran. famous for red pomegranat fruit.

  • @tiredsoul91 Sīstān (Persian: سیستان) is a border region in eastern Iran and southwestern Afghanistan

( i copied that from wikipidia btw loll)

  • @gurliegurl89 thanx for investigating. :)

  • Sistan is one the district in southern Province in Afghanistan

  • Nice song.

Regarding the lyrics, I think its "ba darwarzi tashkurghan, jai-e Sanam janim" "At the gates of Tashkurghan is the place of my dear Sanam"

Sanam is a girl's name and Tashkurghan is a town in Afghanistan.

  • @RoyaMoyaSoya

    Roya Jan e moya jan

Sanam is like Darling and TAshkurghan is the name of a place in northern Afghanistan just south of Mazar-e Sharif. so yes u r almost there
