It is licensed, under a free license. Gonzo also has another free anime, BLASSREITER. Gonzo is a really good anime group, also you should watch Desert Punk. THe dub's are actually pretty hilarious, the voice actor for trunks voices over the main character.

Wow. this 2nd episode is a complete turn-around. Compared to the 2nd, the first is a waste of time and probably put off a lot more viewers than necessary. I actually wouldn't have bothered finishing the first episode if i hadn't accidentally watched the first minute of the 2nd episode. Either way, my opinion about this series has gone significantly up.

I had no idea that anyone had created a cartoon or game using the name Druaga. Druaga was an evil Babylonian god, called the Ruler of the Devil World. The D&D campaign I've been using for the last 20 years revolves heavily around Druaga. I see that the game contains the character of Gilgamesh, another name out of ancient Babylonian religion. A sequel game mentions Ishtar, the Babylonian goddess of love and war. One of the sequel games also mentions Ki, the ancient Sumerian goddess of nature.

I appreciated the first episode in all its jokes on all the stereotypes you see in anime but I still feel like this show will follow those very stereotypes. As for this episode, its a pretty good introduction to the story. I'm not keen on how all the people sound like live action RPGers, but I'll see how it goes. I'd give this one a 3.5-4/5

Hmm based on the OP and ED it looks like Jils final party will consist of the two characters introduced in this episode and the guy with the grey hair and the little girl. I geus if I was to put this into video game terms, Neeba and his group are your tutorial party members who you only team up with to learn the game and then disband while the others would be the real party members you have to meet and team up with.
