Penns a better puncher than Hardy. All night long, Pierre takes him down, Pierre shoots and takes Hardy down. Same gameplan. Look how easy it was for him to take down Alvez. EASY. But Hardy does actually have decent hands. Really good counter puncher. But hes outmatched, easily.

Considering Hardy brings nothing new to GSP, including the puncher's chance, I'd say Hardy's chances are slim to none.
Even if Hardy connects one big shot and takes the belt, he need to do more to gain respect. Such a "flash" win would be regarded as exactly that and all the talk would be about GSP getting "caught". Hardy would need to outbang GSP decisively to get real respect. Hardy would even get huge props in losing, provided he does at least as good as either Alves or Fitch.

Was at the MEN the other nite, Dan Hardy very comfortably beat Mike Swick and her a very impressive fighter. Unfortunately for him GSP is just immense. Will take a herculean effort from anyone to beat him.

Dan "Fast Track" Hardy! he got a title shot because Dana White thinks that Hardy will bring more exposure for the UFC in england, its on the msnbc special on UFC. He has a good chin though but Swick is not known for Tyson like ko's, so who knows. after watching tonight i really dont think he could have beat anthony johnson or even paul daley, but if he gets beat too soon ppl will lose interest in him, so dana gives him a quick title shot

no way man, open up another window, go to wikipedia type in st pierre, look at his record, look at the names, then click on any name in that list, goulet, koscheck, penn, hughes, they all had to grind before a title shot and some like fiorvanti and goulet never got one despite a win or two, hardy got fast tracked. Johnathan Goulet fought tougher guys than hardy. fiorvanti fought tougher guys than hardy, shit Nick Diaz fought tougher guys than hardy, sorry bro, hardy=$ in UK or lbs whatever

I understand what your saying but i still dont believe he was fast tracked as he was supposed to be fighting the korean guy but he pulled out injured so he was left without a fight then swick had to pull out against kampmann because of injury so then obviously daley took his place and stopped kampmann so swick needed an opponent and so did hardy so they would put together and hardy won fairly!Whilst i understand where your coming from hardy beat swick who was the top contender aside from kampann

i didn't like lesnar's fights at all but i was wrong, in his first fight he gets a former champ, bullshit and at the time i said it was far too dangerous, he won, then herring who was more experienced and had fought really tough guys in fedor, crocop and the rest of the pride elite, but he won, then couture which should not have been a title fight, nogueira was the champ, couture had retired and forfeited the title, but he won, so what can i say, i'm still waiting for him to lose

Hardy looks strong. From his videos I've seen he does a lot of deadlifting.
A tip for all you; deadlifting will get you stronger and make your gh and test levels rise like nothing else other than steroids and makes your legs and back very strong.

Hardy got very lucky against Davis. If Davis had been relaxed, and fought like he had been fighting, he would have smashed him.
