Just because it wasn't "your personal experience" does not mean the abuse didn't occur at all. I don't see how the reporting of church abuse by an ex-member of Scientology constitutes as "religious apostasy" (unless abuse is considered an essential part of the Scientology religion and criticism of that abuse is seen as a "rejection" of Scientology). Check out the Volunteer Ministers and their work in East Timor, New York 9/11 and South America. Check out the work individual Scientologists are doing in the worst areas of Human Abuse in Asia, Russia and Eastern Europe. Applied Scholastics, Criminon, Narcanon, Kids On Stage. . . fact is that these people are doing a LOT of good. If you were honestly concerned you might have done research before shooting your mouth off.

Funny that the Scientology lady mentions Hubbard's travels to the east, as though it were some mystical journey where he gained great spiritual insight from eastern religion. Hubbard's take on the east was very insulting. He wrote that Chinese people "smell of the baths they didn't take. The problem with China is there are too many chinks here."
