i think they should release a 2nd album like this but instead of songs from bellodonna era they should remix song that original sung by John bush now that would be cool
I herd all three version of this song from fist full of metal the armed and dangerous ep and this and they are all great so stop winning they are all good
holy shit. i had to do a boring school project but we get to put backround music for our presentation thingy. the whole class went insane when this song came on \m/ (x_x) \m/

@ShOuDeR1990 just dont like john bush, or I MUST. I preffer Belladonna vocals. you are funny dude, you really are an angry boy hahaha. Imitation of Life. Remember
This is the only re mastered song that I think is decent. It's a damn lot better than I thought it was going to be. But I still, I prefer the original.
@weirdalyankosin idiot... a version isnt that he sings it... its that he signs it on an album or disc cause if i sing it doesnt means its a version of mine... it was a concert... but there isnt a disc/album with his voice in that song Joey doesnt have a version.
Belladonna did it well live as we all know. Studio wise Bush's version kicks the shit out of Turbin's. His vocal range was the most limited Anthrax ever had.
bush is good, but only with armored saint. he really just doesnt fit that well with anthrax. Joey mde this song amazing with his high pitch screams and what not
dunno....I like Beladonna, but Bush kinda makes me 'feel' the music better...I find him more suitable for the Anthrax's power....Joey simply is 'heavy', instead of being 'thrashy'...still, he made awesome appearance in Sofia... :)
Bush is amazing and a wonderful metal figure. I think he fits better with the band. Plus i really like his vocals. Don't get me wrong, Belladonna is amazing, but why would you want him in the band when he keeps leaving them?
It really wasn't Bush who killed Anthrax. It was Scott Ian who killed it. We've Come for You All was a great album that should have been followed up with on in the same vein. That lineup had finally gelled to a point where they created great music. Then Ian decided to jump on the reunion bandwagon and low and behold, we have had no new Anthrax since 2003 with a shelved completed album. Yea, Ian can go suck it!
Thats good considering unless you have the armed and dangerous album then your listening to Neil Turbin sing. Way better then either Joey or Bush. But John is good in Armored Saint the musics more tailored to his voice.
Yeah I prefer Joey's version. This is a lot better than I thought it would be and there's a lot of power but this song doesn't feel like it's meant to be a 'brutal' song. It feels like it's meant to be a metal tribute to the gods so high pitched screams are kind of a must.
@isabiggles1 Joey wasn't in the band when this song was recorded, this song was originally recorded by Neil Turbin on the first album Fisful Of Metal, Spreading The Disease was the first album featuring Joey.
Well, Joey certainly had more range and he was a great vocalist no doubt about it. But I just saw them play a week or so ago and I think Bush may be a better frontman for Anthrax. He sings with a lot of passion, he looks like a hooligan and at times I thought he was about to join in the pit with us and throw a few hits. Especially during this song - John Bush was great. It`s hard to choose, they both have their good points.
Fuck Bush, he made them sound more alternative, Joey and Neil ftw. Joey has more dynamic, emotion, style, and range than Neil has, so Joey is always my favorite out of the 3, just listen to I Am The Law, or Indians and tell me, Joey isn't better than both of them.
Ahhhh, the one song where John Bush out does Joey Belladonna... METAL THRASHING MAD!!! I like both singers but, this version is more my taste for this song. Although it would be better if Anthrax had a singer who has both High and Low vocal ranges and can switch between both..... oh well.
BTW- Since I'm seeing a lot of talk about "Glam Metal" and "Hair Metal" bands: Skid Row is great and Slave To The Grind is heavy so their not Hair Metal. Twisted Sister rocks too and Quiet Riot was cool.
R.I.P Kevin Dubrow - lead singer of Quiet Riot. The good always die young and Kevins death was a shocker to me. To be Over 50 years old is nothing anymore and 40 is like 30 now thanks to medical advancements. I still can't believe Kevin Dubrow is dead, it's pretty fucked up since they were getting ready for a "HEY, look whos back!" kind of tour...
Belladonna may have a high voice, but it is easy to distinguish his voice from the high voiced glam metal singers. Bush is great, but Belladonna is great and unique.
just heard anthrax again for first time since the mad old days 20 years ago, i reckon the new singer is good , belladonna was unbeatable but this guy here rocks , it just doesnt sound.......like anthrax , but thats not necessarily a bad thing
