I'm sure that up in heaven Ian Curtis regards D.I as his best heirs, and at the same time spits on Moby and all of those idiots who are destroying Joy Division songs.
I like how you've made the image move like that...tho it would've been neat if the clouds were rolling...Anyway this song quite fucking kills me, everytime, still...
Everything this band ever did was fantastic, but their string of five EPs are all of such a ridiculously high standand that's it's absolutey criminal how little known they are. And yet throwaway MTV nu metal, screamo and pop punk sells by the buckletoad. Where's the justice? I know it's been said countless times about all sorts of music, but yeah...I hate society.
Amazed to see so many views for this song. This band sold next to nothing when they were around. Its criminal they split up when they were still young due to general disinterest
Some of the best memories of my life were in the 90's, and disco inferno was the band I listened to while driving Pacific Coast Highway in California every day. When I die -- they are going to be my soundtrack in the afterlife, if there is one.
Yeah, back in the 90's, I remember waking up in a girls apartment in San Francisco and her roomie was playing D.I on her stereo. I asked her who it was, and she said her boyfriend who was from the UK turned HER onto them,,,,,so I guess, in a way, I got introduced via an Englishman. God save the Queen!
Vodka667 In the mid-90's I was living in SF I was dating a Scottish boy ( living in Scotland) and he introduced me to DI, and to this day they are still my top 3 favorite bands of all time!!! Good memories :)
Well my friend you need to come to Chicago. I got into them back in 1993. Great fucking band. I would have to say "In Sharky Water" would be my all time favorite song from them.
it took me way too long to find these guys because of 50 cent and the trammps

Can`t believe that. According to Ian Crause it was a very acrimonious split

Didn`t think anyone in the US would have heard of them. I`ve never met anyone here in the UK who has without me telling them about them

Great song, but I gotta agree with SeanMR72 - Love Stepping Out on the flip side is brilliant. A true gem.

not bad? this is like the greatest British song EVER. and I haven't even listened to a lot of other Disco Inferno yet.

Not bad but the B-side Love stepping out is fantastic. One of the best things they ever did
