After some time we had to pay back the interest. Since loan was too much, it could not be repaid. As the time went by, the interest kept on compounding and we had to borrow more and more just for paying interest. By now, this interest has compounded so much that an amount worth more than total budget of Pakistan is utilized to pay the interest only. Stupid Ayub Khan destroyed Pakistan and its economy

It is just an illusion that Pakistan prospered in reign of Ayub Khan. America gave long terms loans to Pakistan. Those need not to paid in the beginning. So we had scenario of dollars coming in and nothing to give back. In such circumstances, there would be prosperity no matter how stupid the leader was. Even Zardari would have shown same results then. But the wise leaders never borrow loan. China or Malaysia did not prosper from loans.

Lolz. No one was giving us respect. Ayub Khan wanted to borrow large amount of money from America. Previously, Pakistan had not taken any kind of loan from the world. Cunning Americans knew that controlling economy of a country is same as controlling the country. They showed warm welcome to Pakistan.
