On the box they hint that this item can replace a neti pot, but I found that to be impossible. The water jet that blasts out of the nozzle is very uncomforable and canned solution for nasal irrigation seems a bit strange. Because of the water blast it even seems more messy than what they try to make a neti pot out to be.
