I've never met an scientologist, but a friend of me who needed help with his alkoholism went to one of their helprograms.

I've never met an scientologist, but a friend of me who needed help with his alkoholism went to one of their helprograms.
One of the things he did alot was spending times in a steamroom to clean the system. According to them you could steam away radiation if you'd survive a nuclearbomb or something... :P
It was easy for him to leave them, but for couple of years they contacted him by mail and phone asking if he wanted to return... :P
