It's because Nintendo and Sega were rivals back then, and all the characters were all owned by Sega, so it couldn't be made for the SNES.

That is indeed good. The highest I could get was from 9 to 11. It was hard and it was luck. I was tired and wasnt thinking at the time. I miss playing the game and I cant find it or play it anywhere now. I wish I had it although I would feel like a noob again

1. on lvl 1 vsing the computer with the long arms, he got a 9 bean chain!

2. my highest lvl on practice mode is 110

doesn't mean you can't count for yourself, as after 99 you still hear the same level up sounds , mine was up to 300+ but lost count :S anyways from 99 and up there's no difficulty increase so just call it a loooong level 99 if you will ;)

The level counter stops at 99... if it would've continued, I would've been at 113. It took nearly 2 hours to get there. I love this old and simple game, especially in vs mode. I would've loved to get that 10 hit chain reaction on a cousin of mine. :-D

Damn, that was awesome! I could never do that. I only go up to 7 and that's only if I'm lucky. Usually it's just around 5. I like going in for the quick kill. My brain would die on me if I ever tried doing something that long. Good job!

Shit...that was good. I loved/hated this game on Sega, but hated the version on the Game Gear. At LEAST SEGA had the courtesy to let this game be more interactive and more playable on the Genesis.

Also, how come is it I can't capture as good as this? I tried capturing from my emulator, but my PC sucks and works like an ASS trying. Can you please help me? (I am using Windows XP computer, but its a Hewlett Pavilion)

You could try using the different compression methods that it gives you before recording AVI (I use XviD MPEG-4 Codec). If that fails to work then all I can suggest is to remove the sound from the AVI before recording. And by the way Sega did not make this game Compile did. All Sega did was reskin it.

actually the first hit counts towards a chain. Check the other puyo puyo videos with a chain counter if you dont believe me.
