Very unlucky Ayrton, those cars were something unacceptable, if it was not for that debris hitting the centre of his helmet he'd be still here, it would have been enough with just covering the face with the hands He had no broken bones, just that damned debris caused his death. In fact, in 1995, both Hill (Brazil) and Barrichello (Silverstone), afraid of a similar crash, used to cover their fronf of the helmet with the hands, but the cars were so much safer if compared to the previous season.

If I'm right, he was the last pilot died in F1. Today, the cars are more safe. If you like Ayrton Senna, watch the documentary about him, made in 2010. It's good and tell us about his life, spirituality and his troubled relationship with Alain Prost.
@patte7k After following the pace car for so long his tyre pressures dropped, effectively lowering the car. When accelerating out of the corner, he hit a bump, grounded the bottom of the car which lifted his front wheels enough for him to lose control.
O narrador brasileiro (Galvão Bueno) comentou no dia. Eu estava assistindo a corrida.

What scares me about thinking he survived a few time after the crash is to imagine the horrible pain he must have felt from the steering colum penetrating hes head. This thinking freaks me out
@peperboy1000 He wouldn't have felt anything at that speed and force. He became brain-dead instantly. Over in seconds. So sad . HUGE loss and his passing still hurts to this day because he was in his prime and a phenomenal talent as we all know.
he got injured only after the front wheel hit his helmet if the front wheel after hitting the wall did not hit his head he wouldn't even have been injured
@cry92sis it wasnt the wheel that hit his helmet, it was the suspension arm that pierced his visor and went through his skull into his brain, if the suspension arm was 6 inches lower or 6 inches higher he would be okay today
@lanpingpug Prof Watkins said his neurological signs showed it would be a fatal head injury when he first examined him in the car. The nature of the injury, I think, would have rendered him unconscious immediately.
@TKYxCO - I'm no doctor but I suspect it was an involuntary twitch - his injury was instant on hitting the wall. He wouldn't have known a thing. I sincerely hope so anyway. RIP Senna.
@TheTGHG mmhmm that man lost so much blood, due to numerous causes (none of which i will repeat out of respect), but he was bleeding heavily in his last moments of life
@antonn46 shut the fuck up.....do you know the words? don t say bullshit youy and the other 14 people like your stupid post and your stupid words. fuck off
I never actually saw the wreck. I started watching F1 in late 94....sort of a graphic video but I think videos like this need to be out there so people can really see the danger....
if only drivers could be invincible. R.I.P Ayrton senna ( Imola, may 1, 1994) Greg Moor ( Auto club speedway, October 31, 1999) , Dale Earnhardt ( Daytona, February 18, 2001) , and every other driver who has lost they're life. It doesn't matter if you are a fan of Indycar or Nascar, Formula 1 or formula ford. It is our job to remember every driver. it doesn't matter if they're the best or the worst. never forget
@dREYANftw A safety lap had cooled the tires down, reducing the ground clearance and this shut down the air dam and caused him to lose the grip completely, as you can see, the sparks were flying when he entered the corner.
@reavrr It wasnt just the tires. Tambuerello was notoriously bumpy. Sparks were flying from under the cars on every lap, check the quali on that weekend and you'll see sparks all the time. The skids on the bottom of his car bottomed out causing the car to slide for the tiniest moment, you could almost say Senna was too good...he corrected the slide just as the tires gripped again, sending him off.
A combination of factors coincided to take the life of one of the heroes of F1. RIP Ayrton Senna!!
@TKYxCO Yes 'cause he died on the elicopter that was bring him to the Bologna's hospital that is the nearest hosital from Imola... I'm from Bologna and I remember that I've seen the elicopter that was flying on my house...
Yes, according to the doctor who attended him immediately after the crash "he was still breathing, but it was clear that he sustained fatal head injuries".
The doctor, although not a religious man, felt "Senna's spirit leaving his body as he slowly exhaled for the last time".
@TKYxCO : senna has mass destruction and hemorragy in the brain : he 's " little move " was just an involuntary muscular spasm (espasmo; musculary contarction )

I never actually saw the wreck. I started watching F1 in late 94....sort of a graphic video but I think videos like this need to be out there so people can really see the danger....

Look at the minutes 0:57 and see how Ayrton nods after the accident.

Senna started in pole position in all 3 races in 1994 and came to die while he was leading Imola's circuit.
Now, for those of you, who watches F1 nowadays, do those facts tell or not, how good Senna truly was?

if only drivers could be invincible.

What senna did broke?? Why did he die?
dREYANftw 1 year ago
@dREYANftw A safety lap had cooled the tires down, reducing the ground clearance and this shut down the air dam and caused him to lose the grip completely, as you can see, the sparks were flying when he entered the corner.
reavrr 1 year ago
@reavrr It wasnt just the tires. Tambuerello was notoriously bumpy. Sparks were flying from under the cars on every lap, check the quali on that weekend and you'll see sparks all the time. The skids on the bottom of his car bottomed out causing the car to slide for the tiniest moment, you could almost say Senna was too good...he corrected the slide just as the tires gripped again, sending him off.
A combination of factors coincided to take the life of one of the heroes of F1. RIP Ayrton Senna!!

@TKYxCO
Yes, according to the doctor who attended him immediately after the crash "he was still breathing, but it was clear that he sustained fatal head injuries".
The doctor, although not a religious man, felt "Senna's spirit leaving his body as he slowly exhaled for the last time".
