  • Who is the guy in 0.44?

I would also add Sweeney Todd (Johnny Depp)

Mr. Hyde (James Nesbitt (really belongs here))

Crowley (Mark A. Sheppard (not the first time I see his as a bad guy))

Q (John de Lancie (omnipotent bastard))

  • Very many good villains, mostly the same villains i like. Especially those from tv shows.

I like freddy kruger, michael myers, norman bates, leatherface, jason etc etc too, but yeahhh these villains is cooler and more evil and complex then them. Only recent villain up to par is ofc the new joker but as you said this was made before. I also think khan in the wrath of khan is a really good villain :o)

  • Nice enough but I could think of several villains who are more well known and evil than the ones in this video.

  • Really? I won't deny that not all of the villains I used are well-known, but how do you judge the "evilness?"

Plus, don't forget, I was using a selection of my favourite villains; I wasn't operating on a scale of renown and popularity.

  • If I had made this video the villains I would have used would be

    The Joker

    Freddy Krueger

    Jigsaw

    The Alien

    Thrax from Osmosis Jones

    Norman Bates

You get the idea. Still a good video though.

  • I can see how the first three would apply for top stations in villainy, but how does Norman Bates compare to them or the villains i used in terms of malevolence, power, or creative methods?

(Incidentally, the only reason I didn't use the Joker was because The Dark Knight hadn't arrived on DVD when I made this music video)

  • You made some good choices in your videos and all but Norman Bates is iconic in how he seems your normal everyday Joe at first. Did you ever see Psycho? And also how can you not think Alien and Thrax are good villains?

  • Well, I've never seen Osmosis Jones, and the Aliens/Xenomorphs/Bugs seemed more of a force of nature than actual villains.

But seriously, Norman would have looked a bit out of place alongside alien bank-managers that eat eyeballs and badly-burned psychics that rape people to death with barbed wire.

  • Doesn't Hannibal Lector look out of place in this video? If a villain is truly evil, they can never look out of place. For example, if you had put Nurse Ratchet from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, that would not have looked out of place if done properly.

  • Bear in mind that, with no way of bringing every aspect of their performances into the music video, the only way I have of showing just how cruel or extraordinary these villains are is through their villainous actions.

It's been a while since I last saw Psycho, but as far as I can remember, Norman Bates only kills two people by stabbing.

Compare Hannibal, who thrashes a guard to death, cuts another guard's face off, hangs and disembowels a detective, and feeds Krendler his own brains.

  • Well, while that is true, Maybe you should have had a shot of Norman Bates's shadow as he comes to the shower curtains and a shot of the corpse in the basement? Besides, It's just my opinion that Norman Bates is a good villain.

  • Very nice. Bravo. Bravo. Bravicimo.

  • 0:50 anyone? Weird woman with head tentacles type thing - looks Farscape-y

  • Yeah, that's Natira from Farscape.

  • Oh excellent, cheers. Love the effect!

  • what movie is that from at 0:43

  • Hogfather

  • Finaly someone uses farscape and stargate villians! i love u now

  • hey plz tell me who is the guy on 3:03 he looks familiar i just can place it

  • Kroenen from Hellboy.

  • thnx

  • I squealed out loud when I saw Kroenen and Teatime. Awesome vid!

  • 2:06 who is he i have seen him befor but i cant remember where

  • He's Mr Teatime from the movie adaptation of Hogfather.

  • thanks for telling me

  • Excellent Video! Bravo!

  • who are all the villains in this? I only recognize the master, magneto, palpatine, and morgon le fay.

  • Well, in order of appearance:

Osiris, Scorpius, Natira, Doctor Octopus, Mr Teatime, Palpatine, Queen Mab, Hannibal Lecter, Baal, The Borg Queen, the Master, Alessa Gillespie, the Ver Ager Prior, Kroenen, and Magneto.

  • No Davros, creator of the Daleks.

Here's exchange of reason between the Doctor and Davros:

Doctor: "Davros, if you had created a virus in your laboratory, something contagious and infectious that killed on contact, a virus that would destroy all other forms of life...would you allow its use?"

    Davros: "It is an...interesting conjecture."

  • Doctor: "Would you do it?"

Davros: "The only living thing, the microscopic organism...reigning supreme. A fascinating idea."

Doctor: "But would you do it?"

  • Davros: "Yes...yes. To hold in my hand a capsule that contained such power...to know that life and death on such a scale was my choice. To know that the tiny pressure on my thumb, enough to break the glass, would end everything. Yes - I would do it. That power would set me up above the gods! And through the Daleks, I shall have that power!"

  • Are you requesting a second edition?

  • I know it's a lot of work. You did get the latest version of The Master, that was to be commended.I was entertained just the same.

  • 2:15 and 2:22 what show or movie is that

  • The clips at those times were from two episodes of Doctor Who: The Sound of Drums and Last of the Time Lords.

  • thanks

  • I love it!

  • The chick with the barbed wire is hot. Can i get her phone number?

  • This is a kickass vid! btw who are the guys from 0:21, 1:56, 2:06, and 2:36?

  • The character at 0:21, 1:56, and 2:06 is the assassin Mr Teatime from the movie adaptation of Hogfather.

The character 2:36 is Alessa Gillespie from the movie adaptation of Silent Hill.

  • But why does Mr. Teatime have the devil's eyes and that didn't look like a girl inside the cell.

  • The deal with Teatime's ordinary eye- the one with the pinprick pupil- is not explained in the movie or the novel, but the other eye is apparently a magical glass replacement.

As for Alessa; in the clip at 2:36, she's recovering from being burned alive, so... yeah.

In case you were wondering, the woman at 3:11 is also Alessa, after a good thirty years healing.

Barbed-wire tentacles aside, she's looking quite well.

  • Is that good or bad?

  • Superb Video! I loved how you matched the video to the lyrics; five stars!

  • Nice job Dom

  • Very nicely done :)

  • Thanks for being the first to comment- and I'm glad you like it!
