I can't understand why G didn't marry Charles 1st or why her mother lied and told her the Duke loved her when he didn't and hated her 4 no reason. Her mother had no right to force her to marry the Duke. I don't even know why G gave the Duke children. Those children should never have been born because G shouldn't have had to pop out a son just because the Duke wanted a son. She should've stayed away and married Charles so the Duke would never hurt her.
