Well I saw lots of Behind scenes of Bear Grylls & now I know that its not 24/7 for Bear for example he has medic, 10 members of crew, planed situation & even tents & an umbrella for them but now that I know its not really that realistic when I thought, I got a little mad but I still have respects and I love the show.

The show is not really about Bear that survives in the wild because he has backups, this show is that how we have to survive, ALMOST, this is just like Worst Case Scenario.

all the people who slag off Bear really piss me off, why would anyone actually be in a real survival situation 10 times a year or whatever, of course its set up, it a freakin tv show, doesn't mean its made in a studio though, he still does dangerous things, so he can demonstrate survival techniques. Bear is a legend, when you do half the shit he does then i'll show a bit of respect, but you can't so just STFU.

I agree! I do not know what all the fuss is about. It seems everyone got upset because they did not understand the concept of the show. They are teaching HOW to survive. Which is exactly what the show says. For some reason because he was not in peril every moment balancing between life & death, they frowned on him.

I think he & his crew should be given more respect then that

Blah, those calling him a faker talk a lot of mad and dumb stuff. Shess, people are all so mad at Bear calling him faker and all that and as you say... don't understand the concept of the show. He is teaching us how to survive and shows us the techniques. He doesn't need to put his life in danger for a show -.- Anyway, new episodes on discovery this Monday =DDD Yay ^^

@carolan76 Wasn't there a one off Fan Vs Wild in which they did just this? I agree that many people don't understand the show, he's showing us HOW to survive if we ever got caught in the same situation, it doesn't mean he has to get lost in the wild alone and do everything EXACTLY like you would lost, when the camera is off.

@carolan76 I agree, I always see negative comments about how this show is fake. It's not fake cause he's just showing us how to survive without putting himself in danger (which he shouldn't do). You watch the show to learn and if you like the excitement of seeing someone else in a bad situation then go n get lost in the woods and tell me how that went.
