I saw her many years ago at Ebenezer AME church in Fort Washington, MD, along with Dorothy Norwood. The occasion was a tribute to Donald Vails. It was a wonderful evening. I am sorry she is gone, but I am happy she will be singing unto the Lord.

one thing bout albertina, she never changed her style of music throughout the years, i wish more singers would do this and stop trying to change their music, God has blessed many to sing traditional and contemporary stay in your genre she was a great traditional gospel singer, i will miss her but i know she is in heaven singing up something.

Albertina Walker was truly a gift from above. Even in later years suffering from emphysema she continued to spread the Lord's word. She will be missed!

wouldn't you have liked to have been there......????? and i o patti a big big apology. everytime i watch this video it seems differnt to me. the first time i thougth she couldnt sing this song for some reason the way it seemed like she was stumbling. .. but now that i listen to this again i can see her only problem was she didnt know it. had she knew the words WOWWWWWWW... what a voice.
