  • Hey mate, can I ask what type of camera you have to film these little beaut's?

    Thanks a lot! ~

  • @SuperBinox Hi, I use a Sanyo Xacti HD2000. They aren't that easy to find now but the odd one turns up on ebay. Cheers ~ Paul

  • Super cool vid, my favorite birds! and their song is amazingly beautiful too.

  • Great Quality there, they are fascinating birds to look at, though they are usually quick and getting them on camera can be a little tricky (well for me it took at least 3 different sessions to get pictures) Sunflower Seeds and I even had one on those "fat ball" things at one time.

  • Absolutely beautiful ! What a joy to watch these lovely birds ! Thank you :)

  • Great looking birds! They eat so fast, you would think they were starving...

  • Arfent they just wonderful, You are so lucky to have them in your garden, especially together as a pair. Must be all the delicious food you feed them. I put a lot of mealworms out this morning, and nothing touched them. Came back from reserve and they had all gone lol

  • @Zoltrix67 Cheers Phil. They are indeed little beauties. I don't put out anything special, mainly sunflower hearts. Even the goldfinches and greenfinches seem to prefer sunflower hearts. I wonder whose had your mealworms.

  • @GoldfinchGarden Ypou are right about the sunflower hearts, they do love them. It is very difficult for them to break open the shells, even though they do manage it at times. My Mealworls were eaten by the Blackbirds and Robin. Boy do the blackbirds love those and Sultanas.
