Nein, keine Witze! Als Tierfreund (siehe meine Videos) bin ich bisher noch nie auf die Idee gekommen, auf Tiere feuern zu wollen. Von Joule, Penetrationspower etc., hab´ ich - um ehrlich zu sein - keine Ahnung!

Kleiner Vergleich der dir etwas sagen würde schätz ich. In England wo das Jagdrecht nicht so streng ist wie in Deutschland dürfen die mit Luftgewehren Kaninchen jagen. Das Gewehr muss 12 pfund pro fuss aufweißen um das Tier Jagtgerecht zu erledigen. Das sind etwa 18 Joule schätze ich. Manche von Jörgs Schleuder machen über 70 Joule. Also fast das vierfache. Aber als Tierfreund kannst du dich beruhigen, in Deutschland darf man ohne Erlaubnis nicht mal Schädlinge (Ratten etc.) bejagen.

I buy them on ebay, about 2 cents per ball. You can re-use them if you have a good backstop (otherwise you won't find them).

the cheapest way to get steel balls is to break old ball bearings open, its quite easy to remove them from any discarded device that has spinning parts on it for example bicycles or small motorbikes (big motorbikes won't use balls in the ball bearings) also you can find balls by opening spray-cans (you can hear if balls are inside when shaking them)

@Cyanakrli Yeah, I buy a pack of 100 nuts for 5€, because finding 10-20mm ball bearings is either on trucks or cars, and I have other things to do than using a circular saw to break into hardened steel for few balls.
