Sadly, the DW is no more, lost contact and went into a high speed & very terminal dive the other week. The there was the fire. Well, if you're gonna crash, do it in style!
Great pilot with a smokin' hot plane. I had an unbuilt kit shipped here to Colorado from London because I like it so much. I'm saving money to run power (not air) retracts and power 32's. Can't wait. If you had retracts, DW would look even better on those high speed fly-by's. Nice job. Take good care of her.
Did you use flaps on that landing? as mine is ready to fly and im using flaps for the first time and unsure how they'll affect the flight characteristics. :)
Hi there. Sorry, only just noticed your comments. no, no flaps, in fact rarely used them in over 30 flights, except just because i have them, rather than I needed them||!
The plane does nose up a bit when using flaps, depends on the speed your flying at. I mixed in about 1.5mm of down elavator with mine and this helps a lot
Love it!! I have 1 that's been ready to go since May but, haven't had time to fly it yet. Been busy for the last few months. I've got Power 32's and Rhino 4s 3700's in mine.
@lkuczy You will love that plane, very easy to fly. Should get around the same performance as mine if not a little more, depending on the props. Was going to go for the power 32, but get about the same from the turnigy on 3s, at the expense of the extra weight of bigger batteries, and already own lots of 3s packs. Does need retracts though, still saving for those!
nice landing, sorry to rad about your loss
