  • these aren't power cleans

  • strong guy, the form is a little off...just focus on keeping the bar on one plane the whole time, itll add to your explosiveness, but who cares its still a pretty good power clean

  • man what are the dilikes for, niggas disliken this only 5% of you guys can do this guaranteed

  • you can also see corey lane run the rock on u tube. he is the truth.

  • elbows should come around higher, it is harder to do with straps so maybe he should not use them untill he has the flexibility. it is bad form to catch on the wrists it should be racked on the delts and clavicals. also reset between reps don't "bounce" even if they are metal plates. and don't shoot the feet out to the sides to stay above parallel.

  • learn better form, dude. you're asking for an injury

  • Changing your shoes will also help your form. I used to do power cleans with running shoes and it used to make it more difficult to maintain form. I switched to a more flatter shoe and it helped alot. I also stuck to a lighter weight to get my form perfect before going for the heavier weight.

  • wtf is with these dudes and their gay music???

  • More hip drive, becareful when you split your feet out sideways like your doing. They are suppose to go out bit a tiny bit, your going out too far.

Focus on driving the bar up, using your hips as the main driver, shrug hard and pull under it faster.

Reset each Power Clean, don't just drop the bar like that.

You have some decent power but becareful with your form! You don't want to be injured!

  • thanks for the pointers nice to see some one with video make comments.

  • Your form isn't too bad at all. Good power but the feet go out too far. Try and work on it. Stand on your toes bar at chest (no weight so far) and DROP in to a 1/4 squat position and rack the weight. Repeat for 3reps x 3-5sets. once this gets drilled in you'll lift a lot more weight and with better form = safer :)

  • that might have been the worst form ive ever seen, aahhhhhhh GOd help me

  • haha i hate when people make fun of people on the internet, i enjoy reading the comments because i gurantee 90% of them can't do what you just did

  • amen

  • Well spoken JDsoN210!!!

  • HIs form is absolutely horrible. He isnt gonna do anything but kill his back.

  • wow that was so horrible, i think ill have to watch some videos of l lifters doing powercleans to get this image out of my head

  • lol, this guy's replies are priceless. The form is terrible, deal with it instead of lashing out at people trying to help you out. The back is rounded, the legs are going out sideways, and having large weights falling down and being supported by only your wrists and elbows will be trouble soon enough. Have you ever seen a clean done?

  • yes i have seen olympic cleans done and power cleans done. He is doing these cleans to be stronger and faster not to "clean". Jesus please post a video of you doing a clean. his back isn't rounded before the initial pull. and 225lbs isnt a lot of weight.

  • for his age it isnt. and try and listen to come to jesus i gave one simple suggestion and ur lash out at me power cleans are different than cleans though.a clean it with a full squat.

  • try push out ur elbows and in the prossces open up ur hands so it rests on ur chest

  • He has straps on he is doing this for football not for oly lifting.

  • it doesnt matter the weight should never rest on ur wrist. it will effect you for along time if he hurts it.

  • ok how do you do a shoulder press??? what are you talking about. its fine he will never hurt his wrist doing cleans this way.

  • do a shoulder press or military press behind ur head.squat down and push up then let it back down...and yes he will. it makes it easier if you rest it on ur chest also.

  • it makes it easier because you transfering the energy from the squat into the press. It's physics. It has nothing to do with the integrity of the wrist joint. Thats called a push press. Again have you ever been to the gym?

  • i work out on monday wensday and friday doing cleans bench and squat. watch some videos of frozenkilt his form is better than ur guys. thats how u should clean.

  • how old is he

  • i just looked at your video of you spitting something out. Have you ever been to a gym?

  • i just got home from the gym i was tired and had nothing to do

  • that was just guitar pick

  • sweet, i have a friend, hes 180 and he cleans 270x3 so ur nasty

  • dude your form is awful

  • you are awful

  • naw he was doing it right, the iron weights prevent you from cheating

  • Your form is terrible, I wonder how long will it take, to have your knuckles injured. Besides, do not just touch and go, deload the bar fully on the floor - you should lift the weight with your muscles not with the effect of bouncing!

  • Krus,

He is wearing wraps so his knuckles are at no wrisk for injury.2nd these are'nt Oly weights so they aren't bouncing. Iron doesn't bounce.

  • Wraps dont protect anyhting they are just for grip. there should be no space beetween the bar and his chest, the elbows should be out and the hands open at the top. from the waste down the for was ok but shaky.

  • plus theres a RUBBER mat underneeth it

  • it's 1/4 inch rubber it gives no bounce to iron. If i drop 225 on it, it will not bounce.

  • It bounces a bit, though it is metal. Believe me - you will derive better gains by deloading the bar on the floor. Besides, you should take a few seconds to adjust your position before initiating the lift, you will avoid getting hurt that way. Also, work on catching the bar, do not spread your legs like that while racking the bar on your clavicles.

  • Thats a fair comment.

  • ugly form! Hips lower at start, rack it on your shoulders

  • thats cool do you have a video?

  • my friend at my skool can do this, he is 17. I am 15 and I can do 185 like that pretty easily for about 7 reps.

  • You can probably do 225 too then. I'm 17 and can probably hit it in a couple of weeks.

  • Unbelievable
