the coffin thing has nothing to do with the forth victim, the coffin was for him to be buried in after he killed himself. Unless trinity lacks a total sense of any sort of planning... I mean why would he go and build a coffin for the next cycle when he intends to kill himself before he goes out again?

Um...next victim is a ten year old boy - the same age Arthur was when his sister died. He buries each ten year old boy in his cycle. Instead of killing another ten year old boy, he decided to end the cycle for good this time and kill himself instead (since himself and his fourth victim are synonymous - the preview even has harry an dexter discussing "if each victim represents a member of his family, then it's four not three". If it's not painfully obvious to you at this point then wow...

You should be able to conclude from this that the coffin has nothing to due with the next victim. If nothing else at least reread what I wrote and understand that you completely missed the point.

The reason Arthur is not avoiding Dexter is because he simply doesn't care, he needs to finish his "routine" and nothing is getting in his way. Neither of them can go to police about each other for obvious reasons and Dexter still wants him dead.

Arthur knows Dexter is following him but he's making sure Dexter can't get him alone to kill him, but that doesn't seem to work out xD
