The war on drugs contributes alot to police brutality. You these crazy dumb ass cops getting the wrong house and home owner thinks they are being robbed so they try and shoot the cops and then the cops shoot back or sometimes the cops just gun down anything in the house that breathes. Sometimes they get the right house and that still happens. The war on drugs needs to end. The monopoly on violence the cops have need to also end.

This "the majority of cops are honest, hard-working public servants; it's just the few bad eggs that are the problem" mantra from cops is bullshit.
If there were really only a "few" bad ones ruining cops' reputations the "good" cops would give them up and get rid of them. Instead, there is a culture of cover up that goes on in the "brotherhood".

i have been set up and charged for around 10 offenses i never committed, including possession of offensive weapons, possession of drugs, robbery, criminal damage and other crimes i did not commit. i have been assaulted by police on a number of occasions and they threatened to beat me in the station if i did not allow them to take my DNA when they had me in the station merely to do a "routine search" on me. by the way, the law in the UK does NOT allow police to take your DNA unless you are BEING>

so this does NOT surprise me. i also witnessed first hand the trafalgar square riots in london and SAW WITH MY EYES the police charging people on horseback after blocking them in and THEN the people breaking chunks from the north wall and throwing them at police in DEFENCE only to see it all in the REVERSE order on the news when i got home and hear them saying the people started to throw rocks at the police FIRST (which was such a LIE)!!!
on that same day a police van hurled through the crowds at a phenominal speed and hit a woman possibly 10 to 15 meters on the road where she suffered a broken back. then the police denied access to the ambulence crew and even denied them to take a stretcher to the victim who later died on the way to hospital after they eventually let the crew get the stretcher to her and carry her to the ambulance. i SAW this deliberate blockading of the ambulance by police who KNEW she was in a serious state!
i have NEVER believed ANYTHING the media says ever since that time (many years ago) and was even suspicious of tv back then and before then anyway! also, i do NOT trust police and haven't trusted them ever since they began to harass me on a regular basis and arrest me and charge me for things i never did and they even used to say to me they knew i didn't do these things. i have also had drugs planted on me right in front of my face without them even trying to hide it & then was almost arrested >
> until i divulged a masonic secret hand sign & communicated secret phrases with a police chief who was trying to set me up & then told them "i have friends in very high places" & they let me go... by the way, i used to have involvement with the freemasons but no longer have anything to do with them and never have done ever since i broke ties with them. i have been muslim since 2004 al-Hamdu-lillaah and my life is more peaceful now. i have not been harassed by police since 2004 for some reason.
I'm so thankful for cuapb. When I was assaulted they were very helpful and they are needed in Minneapolis. I don't live MN anymore but I'm this vid was made. They weren't dismissive when i was victimized and that gave me comfort in a really tough time. They were trying to put me in jail. Also, most people think that cops don't just assault people. Well I know one who does and I'm certain there are more.
Blamming! no one push your buttons only when you give your responsability to control your emotions to another person and believe the other person can make you get off control. Fear, prejudices and discrimination is the behind abuse.
This police chief is an idiot. Paramedics and Fire Fighters have hard stressfull jobs too. I don't think they go around and treat people like shit like a lot of cops do.
its to late cops have lost all credablity there the govt thugs americas biggist gang i love now that every one carrys a camera now and all these videos are comming out from years and recent abuse of there power and now people are starting to think that yeah these police just cause trouble ruin families andand send a lot of innoccent people to jail im not saying every one is innocent but i have friend who have experienced first hand with this shit they had weed planted on them by a school cop
seltzer water causes pain? i believe the cops are out of line i would defend myself with my life i they abuse my rights . learn the law codes and recite them and threaten to sue. keep calm but assert the law.
Make no mistake. The largest criminal organization in the United States is "LAW ENFORCEMENT".That is the facts and millions know it.If America ever has war on the streets all citizens should go after all the Judges, police, politicians DA's etc. These are the real terrorist in the USA
1. The 'police' asked what you had been arrested for in the past....I didn't see a response to this.
2. YOU stated: "I knew they(police) would place bogus charges on me. Why would they(police) place bogus charges on you? Don't tell me, let me quess, because YOU are a model citizen? NEVER been arrested, have no criminal record?
Typical 'propaganda' for the F the police side...idiots.
So it's okay for you to kick my ass if I push your buttons. Well, mr. police, would you get away with kicking my ass because I push you button... I know that if someone push my button, and I kick their ass I would get charged with aggravated battery in,
Chicago, IL. That's 2-5 years in prison. But, I guess it's okay your a cop. We THE PEOPLE, are learning the law, and now it's time to prosecute anyone who breaks the law even you mr. police man.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
LMFAO...i bet the next time a police officer asks where are you going..he will just answer it. The other fool is so full of bs I really think he believes it. Thats good that the dumbasses don't let the police buy tasers..now they can just shoot them with pistols instead. Atleast no one will have to deal with them anymore.
As life in America continues to deteriorate...more joblessness, more homelessness, more blatant violations of our Constitutional and human rights by self-serving bureaucrats...it is only going to get worse. I am reminded of that Polansky flick: Every Man for Himself---God Against Us All...well, that is what America of today is rapidly becoming. It's worse than sick. You can't even trust the food on your own damned plate.
Yes there are brutal police out there and I agree they're wrong for what they do but sometimes you gotta question certain things. But good job for spreading a worthy cause.
Not trying to speak out against this cause or anything but about them two victims, were is the proof of these storys? With the first story, wouldn't there have been witnesses and how do you know they weren't just trying to make themselves look good and the cops look bad, stretching the truth, or even making the whole thing up.
There is data showing that the US has the worst police force on planet earth of any first world nation. The voluminous data is mountainous. Our police also MOLEST under age children at an ALARMING RATE.
I would like to see that data, The US has one of the best police forces in the World. Where do you get this bull. I agree that there are bad cops out there, they make the other 99 percent of good cops look bad, They are trying to do their jobs and make YOUR life safer and at the same time trying to make it home without getting killed.
Bull? ... the entire SFPD is under investigation right now for pedaphelia. The FBI has publicly stated that they've know about it for some time but haven't had the resources to bring that many cases against that many cops. Now for the really good news ... thats just one PD out of 3400 in the US!!!
Don't worry, I'll be making a video about these sicko's that are jokingly know among anthropologists as "The Finest"
In all my years, I've never seen more abuse of power than in Logan, Utah. The police officers there enter and break up harmless parties illegally, write endless and unwarranted tickets--I even witnessed one officer yelling at his partner to shut up when his partner protested the fact they were giving someone a ticket for no reason.
And the reason why? Money in their pockets. Logan has fat pockets, and they act like they're "serving and protecting."
A lot of cops are good cops. Now I understand, you can argue it's simply a job that they get paid for, but many of them do indeed put their lives on the line.
But when they use that respect and authority to put other lives on the line, that's sickening. Some cops have a macho thing going, an attitude that I'm alright with, but any farther than that I won't tolerate. I won't tolerate the people protecting me, hurting me.
Grow up! Britality is brutality! So, your sayin I can beat the crap out of someone and get off because, "I'm just a person too!?" Or, "I had a bad day"..PLEASE!
How far do the police have to go before we realize that we are being BEATEN AND INTIMIDATED INTO A SLEEPY, AND SUBMISSIVE
PLOICE STATE? Have we all grown so accustomed to the fear that is heaped upon us by the authorities that we are no longer willing to stand up for what is right? Has the unceartainty inflated to the piont that the pain of brutality is preferable to the risk of taking the power back?
a lot of people dont realise that our police force is founded and ran by freemasons who want to create chaos in the streets so us the people are distracted from most everything else.
order out of chaos is the way america is run, track our history we love chaos and violence, it makes more money than peace.
You ever watch cops? Ever see one where there is a sting operation with 20 hidden cameras catching the dope dealer from every possible angle. Then the cops chase and arrest him, and NO MATTER HOW MUCH EVIDENCE proves he just did something illegal, they continually deny it. Thats the street thug mentality, and cops deal with it EVERYDAY. Police do not arrest people for no reason, and do not beat innocent people, and you are a fool if you believe otherwise
well the LA riots was just a bunch of animals rioting, which is infuriating because the police turn around and beat innocent people, so there's unprovoked violence on both sides, and there're victims on both sides, I just don't know how to get rid of shitty cops AND stupid gang members, it seams you either have both or neither.
"Police do not arrest people for no reason, and do not beat innocent people, and you are a fool if you believe otherwise"
What world do you live in? Because I wanna go there. You say police don't beat innocent people? Police brutality videos tell a different story. You're fucking ignorant..
You are a fool to believe what you watch on TV. Those shows are one-sided advertisements for the cops. We have documented police brutality cases for 7 years in the Twin Cities. Most of these cases get false (cover) charges and we've watched literally hundreds of these cases end in acquittal by a jury or seen the charges dropped by the prosecutor when it was shown that police reports are utter fabrications. In Darryl's case, he was never even charged with a crime.
The issue is this: There are some people who break the law. No one has a problem with cops arresting them as long as they don't violate their rights or beat them.
Just because cops deal with criminals does not mean that everyone is a criminal or give then an excuse to abuse people. If you are so "law and order" you would realize that police brutality is a crime--one that is almost never punished, NO MATTER HOW MUCH EVIDENCE proves it happened.
not every cop does. some do, they are violent, and other cops know they will pay the price if they rat them out. it's what violent people always have done to keep from getting caught. don't be caught speaking from ignorance again, k
No one should have to choose between thugs and thugs in blue. Police brutality is as much a crime as an assault by anyone. People should not have to tolerate police misconduct in order to be "safe."
Darryl Robinson is a college graduate who has worked hard his entire life. He did nothing to deserve what happened to him. Your comment appears to justify the criminal conduct he experienced at the hands of the cops.
fucking cops r pigs every one of them and even when shit like that goes down people still don't get shit cops can kill u and get away with it i don't care who u r
Why aren't police allowed to sit in on your meetings? Thats odd. Surely you bash them when you weren't there, and are only listening to a one sided story.
Our organization is an advocacy group for individuals and families dealing with the effects of police brutality. People coming to us need a safe space to share their situations. Allowing police, politicians and court officials in our meetings takes away from that feeling of safety. Further, approximately 60% of the cases we deal with involve false charges to cover the police brutality. These people cannot safely discuss their cases in front of police, politicians and court officials.
I totally support this whole idea, but only interviewing black victims in this production is surely going to spark typical YouTube overdefensive racist comments all over the place.
Other people were interviewed but the people who made the film needed to cut back on footage. Further, roughly 70% of victims of police brutality in Minneapolis are Black.
I was under the impression that Minneapolis was a harmonious, multicultural city - perhaps the police there see it differently.
They need to train their police force to better understand the needs and demographics of the community, and (more importantly) remove the bad cops who inculcate this mentality into the rest of the force. Police are employed to uphold the rights of the people, not abuse their power; they are not above the law.
That chief is an idiot. "It happens, it happens, it does happen." Aggravation or any other stress associated with his job, although I'm sure it is a stressful job being a cop, is no excuse or justification for brutality. it sounds like Tim Dolan is using it as justification for beating someone, especially someone who hasn't committed a crime. "Well it's okay, I get mad sometimes and innocent people end up getting beat" bullshit
Tim Dolan spends every waking moment justifying the terrible conduct of his police force. We vehemently objected to him becoming chief because he was the head of the 4th precinct when the cops caused an uproar in the neighborhood by shooting a man in the back four times as he ran away from cops, followed a week later by shooting a 12-year old kid. These actions resulted in federal mediation. Police brutality is a huge problem in Minneapolis and Tim Dolan is a big reason why.

And if there is no crime , the police will organize gangs.
IN La they did that. And Boston.
Police 's job is to lead and terrorize the gangs.

i have NEVER believed ANYTHING the media says ever since that time (many years ago) and was even suspicious of tv back then and before then anyway! also, i do NOT trust police and haven't trusted them ever since they began to harass me on a regular basis and arrest me and charge me for things i never did and they even used to say to me they knew i didn't do these things. i have also had drugs planted on me right in front of my face without them even trying to hide it & then was almost arrested >

> until i divulged a masonic secret hand sign & communicated secret phrases with a police chief who was trying to set me up & then told them "i have friends in very high places" & they let me go... by the way, i used to have involvement with the freemasons but no longer have anything to do with them and never have done ever since i broke ties with them. i have been muslim since 2004 al-Hamdu-lillaah and my life is more peaceful now. i have not been harassed by police since 2004 for some reason.

That Police officer winning about he might have come from a bad call and the people don't know what he's just been threw and he's human.
I could understand if he was fliping burgers but he forgets hes on the street, ARMED and carring a lot of authority.
If the Police cant remain neutral and calm then were all in the sh*&
Police are distroying there last onces of credibility by taking the law into their own hands..

exactly, the "police are human too" argument is garbage. If you can't handle the job, you don't deserve the paycheck.

DAMN I love this!
several questions:

We THE PEOPLE, are learning the law, and now it's time to prosecute anyone who breaks the law even you mr. police man.

But good job for spreading a worthy cause.
navysealboy62 4 years ago
Not trying to speak out against this cause or anything but about them two victims, were is the proof of these storys? With the first story, wouldn't there have been witnesses and how do you know they weren't just trying to make themselves look good and the cops look bad, stretching the truth, or even making the whole thing up.
navysealboy62 4 years ago
There is data showing that the US has the worst police force on planet earth of any first world nation. The voluminous data is mountainous. Our police also MOLEST under age children at an ALARMING RATE.
msginca 4 years ago

Fuck that, I'll never work as a cop again.
LCONBEN 4 years ago 2
A lot of cops are good cops. Now I understand, you can argue it's simply a job that they get paid for, but many of them do indeed put their lives on the line.
But when they use that respect and authority to put other lives on the line, that's sickening. Some cops have a macho thing going, an attitude that I'm alright with, but any farther than that I won't tolerate. I won't tolerate the people protecting me, hurting me.

how long are we going to take this?
How far do the police have to go before we realize that we are being BEATEN AND INTIMIDATED INTO A SLEEPY, AND SUBMISSIVE
PLOICE STATE? Have we all grown so accustomed to the fear that is heaped upon us by the authorities that we are no longer willing to stand up for what is right? Has the unceartainty inflated to the piont that the pain of brutality is preferable to the risk of taking the power back?

You ever watch cops? Ever see one where there is a sting operation with 20 hidden cameras catching the dope dealer from every possible angle. Then the cops chase and arrest him, and NO MATTER HOW MUCH EVIDENCE proves he just did something illegal, they continually deny it. Thats the street thug mentality, and cops deal with it EVERYDAY. Police do not arrest people for no reason, and do not beat innocent people, and you are a fool if you believe otherwise
hellboundinlc225 4 years ago
then explain all the beating during the civil rights movement, the la riot, and may day
jaxonerd007 4 years ago
well the LA riots was just a bunch of animals rioting, which is infuriating because the police turn around and beat innocent people, so there's unprovoked violence on both sides, and there're victims on both sides, I just don't know how to get rid of shitty cops AND stupid gang members, it seams you either have both or neither.

What world do you live in? Because I wanna go there. You say police don't beat innocent people? Police brutality videos tell a different story. You're fucking ignorant..
lustrded 4 years ago
You are a fool to believe what you watch on TV. Those shows are one-sided advertisements for the cops. We have documented police brutality cases for 7 years in the Twin Cities. Most of these cases get false (cover) charges and we've watched literally hundreds of these cases end in acquittal by a jury or seen the charges dropped by the prosecutor when it was shown that police reports are utter fabrications. In Darryl's case, he was never even charged with a crime.
MGRESIST 4 years ago
The issue is this: There are some people who break the law. No one has a problem with cops arresting them as long as they don't violate their rights or beat them.
Just because cops deal with criminals does not mean that everyone is a criminal or give then an excuse to abuse people. If you are so "law and order" you would realize that police brutality is a crime--one that is almost never punished, NO MATTER HOW MUCH EVIDENCE proves it happened.
MGRESIST 4 years ago
yse they do
abe3443 4 years ago
not every cop does. some do, they are violent, and other cops know they will pay the price if they rat them out. it's what violent people always have done to keep from getting caught. don't be caught speaking from ignorance again, k
youyou2btoo 4 years ago
This is an excellent idea. Since police are so evil, and just beat innocent black people for no reason.(sarcasm mode off now)
hellboundinlc225 4 years ago
No one should have to choose between thugs and thugs in blue. Police brutality is as much a crime as an assault by anyone. People should not have to tolerate police misconduct in order to be "safe."
Darryl Robinson is a college graduate who has worked hard his entire life. He did nothing to deserve what happened to him. Your comment appears to justify the criminal conduct he experienced at the hands of the cops.

Why aren't police allowed to sit in on your meetings? Thats odd. Surely you bash them when you weren't there, and are only listening to a one sided story.
hellboundinlc225 4 years ago
Our organization is an advocacy group for individuals and families dealing with the effects of police brutality. People coming to us need a safe space to share their situations. Allowing police, politicians and court officials in our meetings takes away from that feeling of safety. Further, approximately 60% of the cases we deal with involve false charges to cover the police brutality. These people cannot safely discuss their cases in front of police, politicians and court officials.
MGRESIST 4 years ago
I totally support this whole idea, but only interviewing black victims in this production is surely going to spark typical YouTube overdefensive racist comments all over the place.
screamingcheeto 4 years ago 3
Other people were interviewed but the people who made the film needed to cut back on footage. Further, roughly 70% of victims of police brutality in Minneapolis are Black.
MGRESIST 4 years ago

"Well it's okay, I get mad sometimes and innocent people end up getting beat" bullshit
emitremmus 4 years ago 2
Tim Dolan spends every waking moment justifying the terrible conduct of his police force. We vehemently objected to him becoming chief because he was the head of the 4th precinct when the cops caused an uproar in the neighborhood by shooting a man in the back four times as he ran away from cops, followed a week later by shooting a 12-year old kid. These actions resulted in federal mediation. Police brutality is a huge problem in Minneapolis and Tim Dolan is a big reason why.
