Do YouTube videos work on this one? Because most of them, including this one, don't work on this one I'm using. (I'm using a 701.)

they should even work on your 701. if you are running XP on it, search for eeecontrol to overclock your cpu to 900mhz

I was thinking of getting one of these near christmas, upgrading it to 1gb, 2 if possible, getting another spare battery and cellotaping 1 or 2 external hard drives to the bottom, then using the last usb drive for a 4 or 8 port hub, and sticking that down on the bottom too, it will make it a little thicker, but can you imagine how great it would be to have a portable "tank" lol, 2 terabyte 10" laptop anyone?

This unit probably had a NTFS formatted drive. It's known that a FAT32 conversion speeds things up.

MAYBE THEY CAN MAKE ASUS 900X it will finally have:

a faster flash ssd,

touch screen, tablet conversion,

bluetooth, 3g, gps,

multi-touch track pad,

xp for 400 dollars...

maybe an integrated dvd burner on the side...

just a dream... AKA the perfect UMPC!

No heat issues at all, the Atom and the chipset stays pretty cool which causes an absolute lownoise netbook.

Da kommt das 900 endlich mit Atom und dann verbauen die nur lahme Hardware als Peripherie.

Das mit dem Akku ist schlichtweg eine unverschämte Frechheit!!!

nun ja, ich bin mir sicher es wird in kuerze auch Akkus von Drittherstellern geben und das SSD, wie gesagt das ist echt seltsam.

Ich bin mir sicher, dass der 900A schneller booten koennte aber andersrum kannst du dir auch schon fuer 120 Euro ne 64GB SLC holen und hast dann wirklich ein Hammer Netbook fuer 400 Euro..

also ich wohne in norderstedt und hier gibts ein laden da verkaufen die dir ne 2.5 zoll festplatte mit 120 gb für nur 45 euro und ne 500 gb externe für nur 72.90 euro
