purely for the damage benefit received from the first 3 spells, given you have the talent Noxious Stings, which you should. I have found that using these spells before using the actual brunt of the hunter really does help maximize DPS. But once again, this is just IMHO, so feel free to disagree anyone.

Nice video, but I disagree with your order of importance. IMHO, using the abilities you listed, I believe the order should be Black Arrow>Serpent Sting>Aimed Shot (if you don't have Aimed Shot obviously just remove it from the list)>Kill Shot>Explosive Shot>Multi-Shot> Spam Steady Shot while you are waiting for cd's,

@funsizedmigit you might have gotten this answered already but yeah, they are great in pvp bc they can stop ppl from moving, in pve not so much, for pve use wolfs for buffs, in pvp use crabs/spiders or anything that can stop or silence someone.

umm i was wondering i got a friend who says bears are best for hunters when on raids for tanking i think hes right but do u think a i think its a tiger it can stealth like rogue and i was wondering what that is useful in raids for thanks ^_^

A bear is bad for raids because a hunter will never be using their pet for tanking in raids, and a tiger/cat's stealth doesn't help in raids either. That's more for PvP. The Wolf buffs are the most beneficial.

PvP go for Crab Or Spider (Pin from the crab goes for aditional damage while holding, Web is only hold) But i quite go for the spider for the 30% mana regen :)

That wolf you can get from storm peaks and its lvl 80 so you dont have to lvl it and he means to use kill shot first when its possible...

It's not a shot rotation. It's your attacks in order of how important and powerful they are. Hunters dont really have a shot rotation anymore.

It means its most powerful shot (duh) u use it when u can and always before any other shot to start the cool down i recomend the glyph for it if u raid

MM is actually better for upper geared hunter..check elitist jerks, my dps went up almost 2k

Well, after some testing, turns out I lose about 500 dps as MM. Thats with using the correct 7/57/7 talent spec and correct shot rotation. And that was done on a dummy without raid buffs or self buffs.

Nope. The wolf is better because its howl increases the pets and players AP by 320 for 20 seconds, with a 40 second cooldown. It's a very good buff.

Here's a really nice macro for survival hunters, it allows you to control when you use furious howl on your wolf. The attack power buff you get from this will buff your explosive shot damage also.

well the buff to weapon damage now for 226 I lvl weapons brings MM out on top for dps. A rotation for MM is

Killshot>serpent sting>chimera shot> Aimed shot

It is almost the same as SV just with higher weapon damage your dps in a fight where you don't move around a lot because Auto shot makes up a large portion of dps. All you have to do is get a good enough spec. 7/57/7 is the best spec for MM right now. So if you can get a weapon from KT or with a 226 I lvl or higher then MM is the spec.

I don't know how to play those specs in 3.1.3, mainly because survival has been the best spec for many months now.

Having played both specs for a long time now, I can say MM is a slightly easier rotation. Also, you're less reliant on lock and load procs and staying perfectly still in order to maximise your dps.

A good rotation is high dps. I'm making an addon atm,Like a big circles of spells, you add your spell in and it revolves, so you only pres one button for a rotation.
