Does any one know how to set a specific heading on autopilot in this game? Whenever I switch on the heading (auto pilot) the plane turns to a weird direction and proceeds that way. I want to be able to set a specific heading (like 60 or 65 degrees) and sit back and watch the plane fly towards the airport. how can i do this?

@AdventureIQ1995 You can model IFR conditions on a cheap and 10 year old slow computer using FS2000 i did this like 11 years ago lol 2D cockpit days with full on IFR conditions. Im no pilot but my cousin (who is a pilot) used to love teaching me how to land planes without looking out the window. amazed me everytime! anyways good luck :-)

Sound packs, scenery upgrades, Add-on aircraft are all developed by different companies that specialize in this like PMDG. Also it is not discontinued as Microsoft Flight is expected to come out later this year.

MSFS is definatley better in a lot of ways. The virtual cockpit, and their many realistic features. Not to mention that there is every airport in existance in the deluxe one. The only thing is that I don't understand why they are using old technology. It is because of that, that you need a very high end gaming computer to use it in any kind of high end graphics. I've seen better looking graphics in CODWAW, at less strain than MSFS. Now we are not getting anything else from them cause their done.

@MULTIPLESHOTSFIRED I will not argue over this because I have not ever used xplane, but I have seen videos gallore trying to decide whether or not I wanted to try it or not. My ultimate decision was not to because of the size of the file for it. However I will say that you are wrong about MSFS being dead. They have announced that they have Microsoft Flight coming out soon! The name Flight Simulator is dead because it was part of the settelment when they dismantled ACES, that they get to keep...
