Dear Thunder, thanks for posting this piece of afghan art history. very interesting. on another note, from the dialogue preceding the song it appears that this footage is the one dubbed in Iran in Iranian Farsi as they could not understood, or disliked, the original Dari accent of the movie. Thanks for making me aware of this song. Since it was broadcast over RTA, I assumed it was the original version words. Perhaps the selection of words is from ancient times.

I actually don't see any "Iranian accent" in the preceding dialogue. They're talking normally in "Kabuli accent". Plus, they did NOT use any specific expressions which would be common only in Iran. Anyhow, I don't think its the Iranian dubbed version.
