  • Hey Phil does Chris still have this car?

  • what sizes are those rims?

  • I have a 73 Datsun 240Z with a V8 conversion, it screams so damn much! I drifted it in a local safeway parking lot, it handles greeeeaaaattt!!!!!

  • low end torque yum

  • I am going to buy a 240z for 500$ and I want to know if it is a good car to start and it has a v6,trubo so yes or no

  • they never came with v6 . . . it was a sohc

  • @b1lly745 just because its a 6 cylinder dont assume its a v6 dumbshit

  • can u ask him what muffler he is using thanks

  • this reminds me of the one from midnight wangan.. haha!! uhm, im getting one soon, but the dealer insist me to buy the 280z due to mechanical issues.. but im still dtermnd to get a 240 or 260z....... nice cars

  • I have a 72 with su carbs, should I change them to the webers?

  • tripple webbers sound very nice. Can be had for about $1000. I would do i.

  • You can make SU's FLY!!

When they were still stock bore I ran 12.94 @ 104.5 mph on drag radials.

    .

After I bored them out to just under 50 mm I ran 12.804 @ 107.26 on street tires with my modified SU's on a 2.9L stock weight daily driven 71 240Z.

  • @2zter If you want to drive it every day id get the 32/36 DGV because they have a choke. The side drafts don't. But if its a race car get the side drafts !

  • What has been put into this car other than the triple webbers? most likely rebuilt engine and some other gadgets? and is it the 2.4l or swap/bore?

  • its a 2.6 that needs a rebuild. stock.

  • Hey man, it's your car.

The way I see it, I see a 2.8L crank and rods.

And when they are all gone(and that day will come) they are gone.

    But OK.

  • instead of rebuilding the old motor put a RB26DETT in!

  • good idea but he may have to do a alot of work i mean alot of work, just rebuild it u get the fun factor out of rebuilding it, or swap in a SR20DET ur choice.

  • you got into the wrong side of that car dude,

    zweet ZED though!

  • ha ha ha, thats what I think when I watch videos from over seas.

  • Ok.

    So it needs a rebuild.

    So bend a valve,

and possibly grenade a running motor?

Still don't understand how that's funny.

  • I had always liked your videos, and appreciated your sharing your work, and the fun you have.

But how TF is revving the engine nearly 1000 RPM's past it's red line funny?

And I thought you had respect for engineering.

    That's ignorant redneck idiocy.

Crap like that is why most of the world hates us.

  • the motor is crap and is getting a rebuild. It smokes, burns oil etc.

  • awesome tri-webers...

  • very clean z good to see it in a great condision

  • hey if any of you "Z" people require anything from trim peices to complete "rust-free" running project cars, let me know.

  • all are typical of "rescued" Z's great to see all up and running

  • That is A Sexy Z Love the sound

  • Damn that 240 looks SICK! I want a 240 or 260z sooo bad. I've got a pretty nice 1997 240sx SE Kouki right now but I just love the looks and everything about the older z cars. The older 240,260 and 280z in particular.

  • what block did he use N42 block or F54 block?

  • Sounds fanfrickin tastic.

  • Not too hard to find. Google hybridZ, you should be able to find one on there.

  • Hi, were did you get those gauges?

  • autometer

  • God that sounds awesome

  • haha get him to dyno this one too :P

  • i am selling two (2) 240z's, both complete 1 is a 71 (runs good, needs work) the other a 72 (hasnt ran in years) with rare oem bodykit..must sell! have 5 cars already! e-mail me!

  • man, this might be a "noob" question, but what do "triple webber [carbs?]" do to a car?! O_O freakin NICE car tho.. would love to have one... =]] not so content with the '79 280zx i have ;/

  • it gives better air fuel mixtures to each cylinder coz there is like one tiny carb per cylinder

  • 280zx is a beast on its own. more of a highway cruiser than a classic sports car but still a beast, still inline six

  • nice looking car good collor and rims fit perfect !

  • have to say, love al of your videos:)

    This thing sounds AWEsome

  • Damn him... I bought my crappy looking turbo 240z for $5k. I saw that car on craigs list and well... nasty things happened in the pants...

Whats Chris' hybridz account or anything where I can contact him for questions on my stoker build?

  • Haha wow someone finally bought that blue Z that was on Ebay forever. He going to fix the fender flares? I was tempted to pick it up, but was kind of wary.. how is it?

  • also i live in dallastx were do you live.

  • nice car man do youknow by any chance if it makes a diference in a car performance instead of having 2 wever i have 2 djv wever carburators and also maybe do you know someone who wans to buy a 260z 2+2 year 1974 for 1,500 obo,but i still have all the orijinal parts for it i have a 280z ..76 but that's the one i drive and i have a turbo for sale for 200.00 thank you man...my ph# is 469-231-5249 erick.

  • صيييييييييييييييييييده

  • Very cool!! Hope to see more videos of it.

  • how much did chris's new toy set him back?

  • $5500

  • wow, he stole it

  • *whistles in amazement* Beautiful car! It's even got the flares, air dam, and spoiler that I want for the 280 I'm gettin'! And you gotta love the throaty sound those Webbers make!

  • You both are right, Nissan was the name of the company but they used the name Datsun in the states at the time.

  • chris's new zed is sick that the way i want my zed

  • wow thats alot of nissans
