I wouldn't say hes nothing compared to Daigo.I don't respect Justin as a person, but I do as a player.He's a master of multiple characters and is the ONLY one in the world capable of giving Daigo some trouble (check out the EVO 2k9 grand final match).

yes but hes definitely something compared to daigo? justin's probably a more versatile player too, he's mastered many characters in various top fighting games... he placed in Second(!) in MvC2 and 1st in the Third Strike tourney as well. Sure daigo beat him in SFIV but it wasnt a total blow out, and he's some serious competition for daigo.

Justin was celebrating because he won to someone extremely better than himself. in his eyes that's a huge fucking accomplishment. You don't see this level of sim here in the states. period.
the fact that he won the match solely on knowing this matchup inside and out is what makes it great. I mean look at him when he beats him, even he can't believe it!

Ummm...yes, you DO see that level of Sim in the states. However, since you've apparently been living under a rock since this game came out, I'll enlighten you: his name is Arturo "Sabin" Sanchez. Still, I agree with you. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Justin celebrating a win against an opponent of this caliber.

I meant at that time. I don't think Sabin was making a lot of noise or considered on Iyos level (or even better) until Evo w/ his MM against Daigo.
Lets just hope when Sabin comes back we'll start to see that level of Sim more and more from other U.S players

had it been a standard 3 round match and best of 3 games the out come may have been different
