Just a tip, hope you don't mind: You need to aim twice as far ahead to hit them on your deflection shots, especially with early war fighter with slow bullets :)

@CaptFlushGarden ...... slow bullets.The speed of bullets were the same throughout the war. Unless it was being fired out of a different gun, the velocity would always be essentially the same.

Ok I usually fly in the hurricane, and im really good in IL-2 1946. But I find it really hard to destroy a plane the only kills i have got is with unlimited ammo with a good 15 second burst at point blank range (i know you are ment to shoot from the convergence range but how can u change it?) and maybe i get lucky and a shoot gets the pilot or rudder. But the amount of ammo the i use is ridicules.

SO How do u change your convergence, what do the range dials on the sight do and best way to attack

@CrankEmpire in 1946 you change convergance in the same place as you change the skins in the QMB its the little black round thing next to the loadout arrow thing,lol you will see what i mean

wow! cliffs of dover really has great smoke trail effect. it really has a gun cam feeling in it. but i hope they can do some more homework on the tracer. it looks too big and solid in the game. it really is a turn down that the game's not so playable so far. i hope when it's released in U.S., most major problems will be fixed.

Outstanding. With the performance "issues" this sim is still hands down the best thing for WWII coming down the line. That footage was very convincing :)
