I attended the seminar portion of the journey last night (Jan.11,2011) and now I am scheduled for my consult next week. I am a former Lapband patient, and a plication failure patient. This I feel, after reviews and studying many that have had it, I am gearing myself for it. i really enjoyed your videos. i am considering gastric sleeve surgery. do you mind if I ask how tall you are? and what your goal weight is? also, how do you stop losing weight with this type of surgery? how do you maintain your new weight?

Just know your insite has been appreciated. I too do not plan on telling many people about my surgery because I think it's a personal decision. You look really healthy right now. I decided to get the VG for many reasons like yourself and I'm tired of fighting the battle. My mother and sister have BMI's over 40. I'm lucky enough to have one just over 30. Your a great inspiration and I can't wait for another update

I love your videos. I am glad the sleeve has worked well for/with you. I am really wanting to have this surgery over the other bariatric surgeries but there isn't a doctor in my area that I feel comfortable with. I will have to go about 3 hrs away but I think it's worth the drive to have a competent surgeon. Hopefully next year I can have it done. Thanks for the info you and your friend/husband/brother provide! (I'm not sure who he is in relation to you lol)
