You wouldn't have to text with the phone. The technology for voice text is already amazing. I have the HTC EVO and I don't ever type, or swype (swype is not even texting, it's a AI guessing game). Anyways, seriously if the voice text is that good now, it can only get better. You can text though blue tooth audio speech and view incoming on the screen or have them read back to you in audio. And yes, even Sprint offers audio to text voice mail services to receiving text by audio is possible.

there is a thing where you write the letter with a stylus or something like that, and it puts it to text. I also think on some phones, there's a dialing pad, so you can prob use that. all depends on the phone you get.
