I've just acquired a PN 40. I'm at square one on how to use the device. Anyone in YouTube land want to make an instructional video for the novice user. Yes, I'm reading the manual and reviewing the tutorial help files BUT a picture (video) is worth 1K words.
If you still are having problems, I can help. I just finished setting my unit up with Ariel maps, some in HQ. Best to get atleast a 4g SD card to start with, unless you live in a small town. I just went ahead and put everything on mine, and since I have a 16g sd, I could probably put a full ariel of Texas on it had I took the time.
Don't believe everything you read friends. I bought one and other than the maps, it can't touch my old Brunton Multinavagator. It blows the Pn 40 away. Claims of haveing Google Earth in your hand is LOL funny. Not even close! Longtime to get a lock. My Multinavagator gets as many as 4-5 3D locks before PN 40 gets one. Rarely get a WASS lock with PN 40. Have had 4 months, and only about 6 WASS locks. Other than maps, it's mostly hype!!!
After having my GPSr for going on two months now, the only issues I have are
after putting in a 16g SD card, the doesn't read caches on external memory which keeps it stuck at only 1000geocaches max.
Other than that, I love the heck out of it. when I DL the imagry maps it's basicly like google earth, and top notch accuracy, the 60cxs is no match.
The 400t's neck to neck on accuracy, And more fancy, but not very durable or waterproof like the PN40.
This is the ultimate geocaching GPSr.

Nice, wish the display was bigger. Perhaps next model larger higher res touch screen?
Your software is far more advanced than your competitors, but the hardware goes to them, for now.
