A rant about GTA4 and PS3.

man gta 4 rocks im not gonna be those kind of people that says get a 360 (as i don't even own one) or saying fuck you (as that is a way of acting below your age i.e. immaturity) but my ps3 works fine with GTA 4 and all the other games work fine maybe you just have a bad copy or something

More then a "fun game", GTA FOUR RULES ALL GAMES FOR ALL TIME! Well, IMHO,it's the best in the series so far. But I am back to GTA San An for my PC, using new hardware. STill having issues there as well, there's a problem no matter WHAT you do, always something!

You must have a shitty new version of the ps3. I bought the original 60g off ebay and havent had a single problem, and I have all the games you do and played through them plenty times. The failed downloads happends to me too if i don't have my ether net hooked up directly from my ps3 to my modem.

Hmm... There's pluses to each side of the argument... Not sure really, i'd of course get a PS3 coz I think they're generally slicker, and also cheaper if you add the wi-fi adapter and rechargeable batteries to the 360. Then again, can't say i've played on an xbox much so my opinion is probably invalid... Look at games, price, and stuff like that.

i own a 360 and they're incredible. I absolutely recommend Halo 3. And you don't need a wi-fi adapter. I use ethernet and it's just fine. PS3's are extrememly buggy and their only good games are Resistance and Uncharted. Totally go with the ps3.

Mmm. You have a point but a few of your points are invalid.

1. Of course you need a wi-fi adapter if your router isn't in the living room.

2. PS3 buggy? What about the red ring of death? Red ring any bells?

3. There are loads of good games, and unlike the XBOX 360, they're not all based around crazy violence.

I'd rater have wireless than a huge cable all around my house, seriously it'd have to be REALLY long. Fine, if the new chips stop it from overheating then it will be on par. Also, Viva Pinata only came about coz the evil Microsoft bought rareware and robbed us Nintendo gamers of Banjo Kazooie and good Donkey Kong games. That's another reason I hate them.

I had that exact same thing with Grand Turismo 5 where it would update like 5 times, and each time took SOO long!

No the problem is that gta wont connect to the servers so it wont work. So when you start it up it trys to connect but fails then keeps trying but justs locks up
