@xTHExSTIGx There a pain in the but :p. i'm using the straight generic i should be using the XR version. but thats like twice as expensive. so i put up with an hour of rolercostering in the morning. :)
Whats bad is when you forget to take them and the withdrawls remind you. now THAT is a rolercoster.
plus i was barely awake.

@Zagroseckt: Could you possibly do a quick video on how it is integrated with your machine ? I've been waiting about 4 months for him to get them back in stock, and would like to have my images ready to transfer over when it arrives. Would be especially interested in seeing how the directory structure is, load time, and how files are navigated. thanks in advance.

@Paperclown load time is about the same as a disk drive. umm navagating requiers a long string.
When i get to the c64 wich is in the same box as the NES i'll pop up a quick navagation video. going to be a while tho got alot of orgenising to do.

@markvergeer Thanks. its an arcade version. i got it with a bulk rom download for mame. wich given the way mame keeps changing the way it handles roms is about the only way you can get a working set to begin with.
why on earth did they go with parint roms child roms bla bla bla. just dump it name it use it :p
that way when you want to play ms pacman you dont need 3 other romsets to get it to work.

I've got the 1541 Ultimate I and the MMC2IEC the first one emulates the 1541 to a high degree but sadly is only made in Europe by a single Dutch person. The second one only is able to run single files of the SD card (prg, or single files of the t64 or d64 files).
The first card (I got the 1st release) is able to do multiple part disk games too to some degree. The 2nd release is supposed to be very very good.

@markvergeer Theres a bios update for your mmc2iec same bios branch i'm using and it will do multi part games aas long as you setup a switch (if there isnt one allredy on your mmc) then you just make an autoswap.lst file and hit the button to cycle through the list.
uIEC is basickly just another version of the sd version of mmc sd flash ide64 exct.
And i agree the 1541U realy should be open sorced.
