  • He has tourettes??

  • I'm American; I'm even from the same county as Tim, but I wouldn't call him one of the best goalkeepers in the world. The media just loves the hype around professional association football players who make it overseas.

  • @BeccaWei25331 Thumbs up for the american that sad football instead of soccer:D

  • Best goalies in the world??

America should stick to other sports. Like there version of rugby where you have so much kit on you may aswell not play.

  • @MUFCFrankie agreed he's not one of the best in the world but he is very good

  • @MUFCFrankie That's a very ignorant statement. He's a great goalie and I'm American and I'm a footballer/soccer player. American football is incredibly athletic so don't discourage it. Also even though America isn't the best in the world at soccer, doesn't mean we have no talent. Give us some time and things will turn around for the USMNT.

  • That sounds like some PA english coming from Howard...

  • As someone with Tourettes.

    Thank you.

  • great marketing but no goalie

  • One of the best goalies in the world?...since when??.says who?

  • @lonniegallam by alot of people in the world hell he is/was the on the top 10 goalkeepers by fifa

  • this interviewer is part of why no one takes soccer in the u.s. seriously...i wish howard had rolled his eyes.

  • "one of the best goalies in the world" lol

  • @gruffjames69 better then robert green EL OH EL

  • @gruffjames69

He is dude...do you watch soccer?

  • one of the best goalies in the world lol idk about that shows how much america knows about soccer

  • @futbolkid1995 to them the United States is the world

  • @futbolkid1995 hahahah i know right, neuer, de gea, van der sar, valdes, hart, cech, casillas, schwarzer (im australian btw), steklenburg & buffon just to name a few that probably are in a different league

  • here are a few more goals that are better then tim howard,

    1. petr cech, 2. edwin van der sar, 3.Pepe Reina, 4. Víctor Valdés, 5. Iker Casillas, 6.Hugo Lloris, 7. Maarten Stekelenburg, 8. Igor Akinfeeve , 9. shay given, .10 Gianluigi Buffon, 11. joe heart, 12. Júlio César, 13. Gomes, 14.Doni. look i could name a few more but these are off the top of the head

  • @JoshReading LOL...van der sar & doni???

  • He looks like Vin Diesel!

  • I love the breaking news. "Pacman Jones to face 2 felony charges." LMFAO.

  • lol all these americans saying hes the best goal keeper in the world. He's good but he aint that good!

  • @LecceDiPane no one is calling him the best, theyre calling him ONE of the best, and they're right. Youre clearly a US soccer hater, and I doubt that you can give me 10 goalies that are better than Howard.

  • @xKDubx126 Jose Reina, Edwin van der Sar, Petr Cech, Iker Casillas, Gianluigi Buffon, Shay Given, Jussi Jaaskalainen, Mark Schwarzer, Manuel Neuer, Julio Cesar. Admittedly the final two in my list are very much arguabley not better than Howard, but i reckon the other 8 are.

  • @McBane10 Joe Hart!

  • This guy did a good job at the 2010 World Cup..

  • what pisses me of that Mexicans claim the us national is 95%Mexican....

  • LOL, "calling you ugly with love" haha. I like his laugh.

    Very cool goalie *thumbs!*

  • he's my favourite goalie!!

    Tim's just unbelievable!!

  • he was awesome against england i think

  • why doesn't he tell it like it is?? You can't compare the enthusiasm of american football to that of english fans for soccer- they're nuts over there!

And the MLS cannot TOUCH the Premier league- come on howard!!!!!!!!!

  • @ashbgonzo i know i dont really follow MLS any its mainly barclays/champions league cus watching a Barclays premier league game (ex: Liverpool vs. Chelsea 2005) and a MLS game u realize how well these guys are conditioned.

  • he is good but not the best goalie in the world lmao. he never got into the man united team because they didnt need another reserve keeper.

  • 'goalie'?? ugh...I hate when they say that...

  • Haha I love the humour in American interviews. "You UGLY!"

I think US football will get more popular if they do well in the world cup. They certainly have the ability to cause an upset. I think as the years have gone people are starting to see the US as serious contenders.

  • Best in the world? Sure. He's good, but I really wouldn't call one of the best in the world.

  • good keeper with more years more improvements

  • Wish he stayed with Man Utd,He has matured with time like a good wine

  • you can't tell he has tourette's

  • @escoszickest

yeah thats why i looked this up actually :)

could be physical tourettes, otherwise he's just had a lot of work.

  • @ShistaMista666 It is physical tourettes. In a newspaper interview, he talked about how he was made fun of at school for it. He then tried to hold it in until he got home from school. It was pretty serious. He had no energy at the end of the day containing all his twitching. He says he uses it to his advantage now and it keeps him alert.

  • kasey..friedle...timmy.. as of now..1 ..2...3

but i realize TIM ..is the man of the moment. and dont dare disrespect kasey. he helped us get where we are today.

  • due to friedel and keller US entered World Cup 2006 as top 5 teams in the world

  • Wouldnt say he was one of the best in the world. He's good but is not on the Buffon, Cech etc.... standard

  • He's a good goalie. Not a superstar`but he's much better than Casey Keller was.

  • @sean2015 not a 'superstar'? wow...he is the best man. THE best goalkeeper in the world. His style is modern and strong and he's so quick for how big he is. You gotta be kidding me sayin he's not a superstar...do you know what he's doing for keeper representation in England?? wow man...you need a real update.

  • it depends on the situation. he is probably top 5 active international goalies. during the confederation cup he did better than iker casillas and Julio Cesar. Bufon though yea that is why he is in top 5 not the top 1

  • im a scouser support liverpool but he is a good keeper 4 everton

  • probably the best goalie in USA history

  • JORGE CAMPOS WAS THE GREATEST!

  • Howard was the hero of the game this morning Vs Spain.

His mother is Hungarian, I bet he understands Hungarian better than Liverpudian! LOL. Congrats on a great game.

  • im a gooner but everton r pretty kik ass 2!

  • timmy please come back to metro!!!!!!! lol

  • Jorge Campos was the greatest

  • Great interview and Tim Howards a great goalie for us and the U.S.A. but id love to know how Phil Neville has the front to call anyone ugly.

  • A really nice guy, and the interviewer was great too

  • On of the greatest keepers in football!!!

  • oh my god... timmy is a saint for putting up with that guy and being so polite... if anyone from espn should've done that interview it would be Tommy Smith... howard is truly a class act; he deserves a world cup championship, and I believe he'll get one

  • becham is gret?!.... thats why usa sucks at football

  • evertonnnn 4 evaaa!!!!!!!

  • tthat dude is gonna be something greAT when the U.S wins the next world cup and he becomes tha worlds best keeper :P

  • One of the best GKs in the world!

  • Tim Howard is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

  • he should have stayed at united

  • this reporter sounds so ignorant.

  • Deffinatly the best keeper Everton have had since Nevill Southall, but he won't come anywhere near Big Nev, southall was the best keeper in the world in his prime.

  • its weird hearing Everton and Neville Southall spoken in a American Accent

  • Tim just needs to keep doin the biz for everton otherwise he'll lose his place coz stefan wessels wants that no.1 spot. E.F.C. forever come on you blues!

  • One of the world's finest goalkeeper's and will continue to improve, regardless of Sir Alex Ferguson tossing him to the side for an aging Van de Sar at Manchester United.

  • the best goal keeper in the world is buffon

  • you guys dont understand soccer.. dont talk about things you dont know he is a rising star yes.. most goalkeepers hit there prime at the age of 35-37 years old averge age in the epl for a goalkeeper is 35 and tim howard is in his young 20s he has potential to become the best keeper U.S has ever seen

  • dnt even look like he haz tourette syndrome!

  • thoguht he was crap but at everton hes been one of the top 5 goalkeepers in prem

  • cmn on now. im not american and if he was english he would be number 1 for england NO QUESTION

  • Absolute leg-end he will be the key to evertons success this year, did u c his save against spurs last night? unreal. COYB

  • top man

  • go ed timmy, us scouse blues luv ya babay

  • lol @ phil neville having the audacity to call anyone ugly

  • definetaly one of the rising stars fo the game, i wouldnt say the best as he is not consistently been starting for the us

  • hopefully the best goalkeeper in the world....in 3 years.

  • He's not even close to being one of the best keepers in the world, he cant even hold a candle to Petr Cech, Casillas, Buffon, Coupet, Lehmann, Van Der Sar, They are on a different world then Tim Howard.

  • Cech, Casillas and Buffon are world class but I think Howard isn't far behind or equal to Van der Sar and Lehmann but he isn't close to Buffon and those others

  • wrong.

  • tim howard can certainly more than hold a candle to the likes of van der sar an cech, lehman etc u don't become keeper of the year in the premiership for nothing tim is amazing certainly of the pedigree of neville southall not that u know who he is without googling it but tim is one of the finest keepers in the finest league in the world

  • Coupet and Lehmann haven't had the best seasons this year, however Tim Howard has really come into his own. Just like David James for Portsmouth. He's really improving, but I'd still rate Antti Niemi and Brad Friedel higher than Howard.

It's a shame that you haven't mentioned Julio Cesar from Internazionale in that list, he'll be one of the best keepers in the world soon

  • Julio Cesar is OOOOOLD!

Howard has been solid tho i must

Man i would love to live in america

  • USA CHAMP'S

  • Does the interviewer know how to speak proper English? This guy is supposed to be a professional journalist and his vocabulary makes him sound like an 12 year old

  • well he is american

  • USA USA USA

  • One of the best goalkeepers in the world- ho ho ho!

  • weak

  • weak? ya that's it, no one can cheapshot and kick payers after a goal like osvaldo....world class!(gag me!)

  • Tim Howard is amazing, he's the Timanator
