  • Sleep disorder, huh? Hmm. Seems like a lot of people are having the same freaking dream. It's a sleep disorder all right. LOL. And what about the implants that were in their bodies? I'm sure the abductees planted them there. Ouch! Especially the ones on their back. That was an easy place to reach.

  • God I hate how friggin skeptical and condescending the reporter is

  • 0:40 is fuckin hilarious

  • Funny how the mind can create the very illusions that we crave to be real.

  • @AtheistToothFairy Funny how some assume that what's real for others is what they "crave." Do you, AtheistToothFairy, "crave" war, pestilence, poverty, hunger, oppression, tyranny, ignorance? No? Well guess what: THEY'RE REAL. They are in your reality, in your world, in your neighborhood. It's just the way things are. What's really "funny" (not in the sense of humorous, but bizarre) is how people like you dismiss everything extraordinary out of hand. You are probably deeply afraid.

  • @ChrisZ70:". What's really "funny" (not in the sense of humorous, but bizarre) is how people like you dismiss everything extraordinary out of hand"

Given that I used to believe in aliens and abductions and a whole host of other woo-woo crap, that from decades of research that I realized it was all lies or misinterpretations, there simply is no reason to ASSUME w/o evidence that such things would be real.

We all know hunger et al, is real, and NOT supernatural.

  • @AtheistToothFairy "without evidence". You have decided what does not count as evidence beforehand, and that would be any account that you categorize as "woo-woo crap". Someone says -- a lot of people, a whole host of people, say -- "I had this experience" and you immediately classify their testimony as "woo-woo crap" which, therefore, is to be peremptorily discredited because there's no evidence, and there's no evidence because it's to be discredited! For you, WHAT COUNTS AS EVIDENCE??

  • @ChrisZ70:"For you, WHAT COUNTS AS EVIDENCE?"

    First, what isn't--

    1. Things like Eye-Witness Testimony or Feelings are useless as evidence.

    2. Today, photo's also aren't great evidence either.

    3. Hearsay of course is useless

    Good evidence:

    1. Something tangible that clearly shows it's not of earth origin

    2. A real Alien corpse that isn't some huge secret (e.g. area 51)

    3. An alien landing in D.C and getting everyone's attention

    Get the picture now?

  • @AtheistToothFairy "eye-witness testimony is useless"??? I should end our exchange right here, because that is an insane statement. But I get the picture: You will dismiss everything that doesn't meet your criteria. But how would you know if something's not of earthly origin? And don't you think an alien corpse would, by its nature, be KEPT a "huge secret"? And you dismiss the testimony of ostensibly sane, normal, real people and THAT is your problem. It's irrational just to dismiss them.

  • @ChrisZ70:"eye-witness testimony is useless"??? I should end our exchange right here, because that is an insane statement"

Obviously you haven't done much research in the way of eye-witness accounts of even simple crimes.

If you had, or even talked to a seasoned cop, you'd quickly realize human perception is highly flawed and thus worthless as evidence in any science.

  • @AtheistToothFairy i agree that eye witness testimony can be flawed, but i wouldn't be so quick as to call it worthless. human perception can be tricky; people see what they want to see. but what happens when an unsuspecting individual sees something he/she has no attachment to? if that makes any sense lol for example: a fight at the bar. who are the police going to want to talk to: A. fighter(s), B. gf of either fighter, or D. the person who saw the fight and who doesn't know the fighters

  • @07foxmulder:"people see what they want to see. but what happens when an unsuspecting individual sees something he/she has no attachment to?"

Society today is filled with SciFi and Horror movies, so it would be hard to find a person today that when seeing a strange object in the sky, didn't automatically CONSIDER that it might be a UFO of some unique origins.

Also, for sky objects, ppl are terrible at judging distance and speed and even tend to see objects moving that aren't

  • @AtheistToothFairy when i said 'attachment' i meant that someone who is a ufo buff (or whatever) is more likely to claim they saw something unexplained in the sky as opposed to someone who is not.

i disagree with your society comment. yes, there are plenty of scifi movies out there, but a silly B movie isn't going to change the opinion of someone who firmly disbelieves in the existence of aliens.

  • @07foxmulder let me say this. do you think with the size of this universe . we are the only living sentient beings in the universe.

  • @bradleycontois absolutely not. but why would intelligent life travel from one end of the universe just to make a few odd appearances and abduct a couple people? that's where i start question everything. i want to believe that these stories are true; it would make the world/universe a much more interesting place, but i'm not going to be so quick as to call it all true.

  • @AtheistToothFairy sorry, had to split this into two. my point is that not everyone is looking to see a ufo, bigfoot, or the loch ness monster. sometimes what people claim to see is legit.
