I Like Philly even thought I'm From B-more It's a nice town and sort of similar to B-more. The media portrays only the negatives and not enough of the positives of both cities. Infact the design of rowhouses in both cities are almost identical.

I lived in Philly till I was 15, then I moved to New Jersey and now I'm 30. I must admit that the first 15 years of my life were better than the second half. Philly is loaded with real people. You'd be surprised how phony the people in Jersey are...at least in South Jersey, I'm not sure about north. Camden is bad but where I am it's the closest thing to real in this part of the state. I was born in West Philly. My mom is from there. My Grandmom is from South Philly. When I was small we moved to Germany (dad was in the Army) and then we came back when I was 4. i went to philadelphia exactly 2 months ago and i enjoyed it a lot. it's a quiet town, maybe that's why you didn't like it. there's a lot of black peolple, it's true, a lot of bums but that's what makes it touchy I guess :)

I lived in Philly till I was 15, then I moved to New Jersey and now I'm 30. I must admit that the first 15 years of my life were better than the second half. Philly is loaded with real people. You'd be surprised how phony the people in Jersey are...at least in South Jersey, I'm not sure about north. Camden is bad but where I am it's the closest thing to real in this part of the state. I miss living in Philly. I may move back. Not all Jersey people are fake but the majority of them are..it's sad.

real crinimals are the fucking metal companies that sold out god knows how many jobs over seas that were origianly in philly/camden. My family was able to sustain an aluminum foundry in our backyard damn near 100 years, then in a matter of 15 we get sold the fuck out.

I was born in West Philly. My mom is from there. My Grandmom is from South Philly. When I was small we moved to Germany (dad was in the Army) and then we came back when I was 4. Grew up around the city and suburbs then moved into Port Richmond when I was 25. Left not even a year later when or house was sold to some yuppie snobs. Watching this video opens a door to a hallway of memories from my childhood. I want to go back to Philly but I don't think there is any hope there anymore.
